I really recommend Dark Tattoo. They did a great job and managed to squeeze me in despite being booked up as I wanted it done by a certain date as my friend had passed away and it was for her. The staff were all very friendly and chatted away because I was nervous at first. I'm going to go back soon.
was in today getting a piece done by Charlie, absolutely blown away by how it turned out been trying to find a somewhat local woodcut artist and now I have, the studio itself was very clean and its a really nice atmosphere everyone that was in was super nice
had an appointment with charlie (apprentice artist) last week for some mini flash tattoos — ended up getting 4 and i’m so so happy with them!! charlie was so lovely, the whole process felt very comfortable & clean, and they’re healing well. will 100% be back again, thank you

Thomas at Dark crow tattoo was absolutely fantastic from first contact to walking out the door as a ecstatic customer I approached Thomas to help me when designing my tattoo I had the basic idea which I gave to him and gave him the lead on basing a design on the request I had given. I was blown away with the Finished design he covered things I had not even thought about and the end result was amazing exceeding my expectations. Also I was extremely nervous about the piece and if I could handle the pain - he put me at ease talking me through what he was going to do at every stage and i was surprised by how bearable the pain was and managed to sit for an entire days session without needing any numbing cream - was delighted with the outcome and how good the actual experience was Thomas blew me away with how he listened to what I requested and incorporated my ideas in to an amazing Tattoo ! I am more than chuffed to say the least with the end result - I am one day in to healing and tattoo looks amazing! Can’t thank Thomas enough for his artistic input and caring nature throughout the entire process ! Can’t recommend this artist and shop enough !
Brilliant studio, nice and clean and bright. I can’t recommend current junior artist Thomas (Thomas Ferns Art) highly enough. For realism/ portrait he’s your man, also skilled in other areas too.
Had my first big tattoo yesterday with Thomas Ferns at Dark Crow Tattoo and I’m absolutely delighted with it. The detail and realism is second to none. Looking forward to getting booked in for the next one!
