   Visited Knife for Sunday roast and it was delicious! Fresh complimentary bread to start which was unexpected and appreciated. Little Yorkshire puddings appeared next with a little pot of gravy, just out the oven and very tasty. Three of us chose beef and the other lamb and the meat was tender and thinly sliced. All our accompaniments arrived piping hot; roasted potatoes, roasted veg and cauliflower cheese, all delicious! From the minute we arrived the staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. A little gem of a find so you need to book but try fit Knife in if you're in the area.

   By far the best steak we have found in Clapham. Highly recommended. If you love your steak lean and rare (and have someone to share a steak for 2 with), we particularly recommend the chateaubriand. But all the steaks we've tried have been excellent. Their sides and starters are also great (and you really need to try their corn brulee!) but be a little careful on how many of them you order. The generous portion sizes plus free signature "yorkshires with gravy" and great homemade bread can impact your ability to do justice to them all. But they are happy to provide a doggy-bag if you need one :-) . Their Sunday roasts are also great. It's a small restaurant and very popular with locals, so book well ahead to get a table, esp for Sunday lunch. Staff are very friendly and welcoming which compliments the charming local atmosphere very well.

   This is the best steakhouse in South London. Every time I go there I’m always greeted with a smile and the staff always remember, even when I have not been in a while. The food is also faultless, you are given complimentary bread and Yorkshire puddings with gravy dip. When ordering a steak the waiting staff give good detail on how it’s prepared and presented and the sides are amazing. There’s a good selection of drinks and desserts. I would literally go there every Sunday for their roasts if I didn’t have to work sometimes. Everything about Knife is perfect, I always recommend to people who are looking to dine out. I’m already looking forward to going back. Always 5 ⭐️ from me.

   Sunday Roast - lamb. Food looked great. That was about it. The lamb was more sinew than meat and no flavour or tenderness whatsoever. The gravy was watery and tasteless. Salt didn't fix it. The potatoes were underdone and shockingly despite the amount of oil it was floating in - bland and tasteless. The Yorkshires - bland and tasteless. Even the veg was tasteless albeit cooked well. It was just a really disappointing meal. I will say that the cauliflower cheese wasn't bad but I do tend to believe that's a difficult dish to mess up. The server was lovely but despite asking whether we had enough time for another glass of wine (which they confirmed we do) they kicked us out of the restaurant without allowing us to finish our wine (and even though the place was practically empty). All in all a below average experience not worth the hype or money.

   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down one of the best steaks I’ve ever had—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how I like it. What really made the night special was Andrea’s amazing hospitality. She was kind, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs. Can’t wait to come back!

   This restaurant was recommended by a friend. It came with a price but this is one of the best steaks I have tried. Staff were really attentive, they will immediately serve some complimentary yorkshire pudding and bread while waiting for the appetizers and mains. The food was consistently good from appetizers to desserts! Will surely go back here. Booking in advance is recommended

   Probably one of the best roast dinners you can find in a restaurant . The beef rump meat is cooked to perfection , I find that a lot of places undercook it and it’s hard and dry but the beef roast here is super juicy. Potatoes are cooked perfectly , super crispy on the outside but moist and fluffy on the inside. Yorkshire puddings are nice too. They give you complimentary bread and mini yorkshire puddings before your meal. Gravy was a tad bit too watery but it still went well. Overall, everything was delicious .

   We had a fantastic experience dining here. Everything was perfect from the food to the music playing in the background. The staff was lovely, the service impeccable, the ambiance very intimate and the seats comfortable. The food was great from start to finish. We ordered the tartare and pork cracklings as starters, both very nice and the tartare was very well seasoned. The meat was tender, cooked perfectly and very high quality - we had the ribeye and need rump. As a side we ordered the potato dauphinoise and the corn creme brulé (very clever dish in my opinion!). We ended our dinner with a wonderful lemon tart with basil merengues - very light and refreshing and another clever dish in my opinion. We were also offered home made bread and butter, mini Yorkshire pudding with gravy and an homemade limoncello. The meat was a bit expensive perhaps, but it was also very good. We had a wonderful experience, great food and friendly staff. We will be back to try their Sunday roast for sure.

   Great little place. Very small so service is great and very personal. The food was very good. We were given complimentary mini Yorkshire Puddings and after dinner complimentary shots of Limoncello which was such a nice touch. 10/10 for the two staff members who were so friendly and tentative without being pushing or intrusive.

   The most incredible roast I have ever had!! It was such a large portion and so filling. They also provided bread and mini, snack-able Yorkshire puddings. The thing that made my time her were the staff, they were so lovely and friendly. I would recommend booking in advance as it’s a small venue and very busy on Sundays.
