Great ambience. Great food. Although, can't say we haven't had better steak for a lower price in London. Service was slow. Had to keep waiting around to spot a waiter to ask for menus or the bill. Overall great experience for a special occassion. Will consider visiting again sometime.

Celebrating mums 65th! Impeccable service from Rob (Rob from Scotland!). 25+ years dining and all 17 guests agree this was the most quality service we have all received. To name a few. Warm, friendly, charismatic, engaging, and kind. Rob managed our group with such professionalism and enthusiasm it sealed the night for us. Rob took every order, remembered every order and built up rapport with all 17 guests. If you choose private dining ask for Rob! If you are dining in the main restaurant or bar. Give a shout out to Rob......Rob from Scotland!!! With huge thanks Rob from Verrrean and family!

Incredible lunch at Gaucho!! Great spot for business lunches. Staff was extremely attentive and everything including drinks were delicious. They have a few non meat options (including some delicious ravioli) so suitable for veggies too. It was not too busy and there is plenty of space in the restaurant.

For the price point, this was a disappointing experience. On a Friday night, the restaurant felt short-staffed. The food was mediocre: all the steaks were over-seasoned, two arrived cold, and the chips were so salty they were inedible. The wrong sides were brought to the table, and although staff said they would be removed from the bill, they still appeared at the end. The steak knives were poor quality and struggled to cut through a marinated steak that I should have been able to cut with a butter knife. Drinks were slow to arrive every time we ordered. Service missed many basics: clearing plates, pouring wine, checking in on the table, and serving in a timely manner. Instead, staff were often seen talking among themselves. My last visit to this Gaucho was ten years ago. I had hoped for improvement, but it was average then and remains average now. The only positives were the warm greeting on entry, the farewell and cocktails.

First time being to this restaurant, will likely to be the last time. Firstly the service was not existed and it took 30 minutes for starter to come, the coffee was good but it spilled out so kept dripping, which was very unprofessional. The bread was good, the prawns starter was ok, sea bream was blend, spinach was watery, basically everything was blend. The brownie was the best of the food which was sad… No way I’ll be back.

Great venue with exceptional service. One of the best Gauchos I've been to, lovely decor and great food as always. Has a nice mix of customers with a chilled out atmosphere. Will be coming back here again.

Every staff member was lovely but our waitress Mari was absolutely phenomenal. Helping us navigate all that we didn't understand about the menu and wines, we ended up getting the most incredible meal. Steaks were absolutely unreal (kind of expected) but also the sides; from the mash to the incredible spinach it was an absolute 10/10 experience topped off with a mouth watering cookie dough dessert. Would 100%, recommend anyone to go, also suggest spending the bit extra to get the spiral cut marinated steaks!

Third time gaucho visit, 2 in Canary Wharf and third time here. Venue looked fabulous, very empty as it was the tfl strike. Service was very attentive, high standards. Really likes the raw food presentation in the beginning. We went for the sampler 1.2kg option which was extremely good, however it was just way too much for 2 person as we had sides and bread earlier too. Quality was spot on. Overall was better experience then the wharf. Definitely recommend!

Very private location very easily accessible from Liverpool Street Station. I was very pleasantly surprised by this location as it's quite unexpected because it's all underground and you can easily walk past this restaurant without realising it's there. The food was very well presented and very delicious. We chose a sharing platter with 4 different cuts cooked medium rare. We were not disappointed with our choice. The wine suggestion went really well with the steak. The desert selection was nice also. All in all a nice experience in a very well presented location. Do expect high prices!

Fantastic! Amazing attentive service and brilliant food. Could not ask for better. Very accommodating, for instance one of our party had Steak Tartare (a starter) as a main course and this caused no issues. A good range of both cocktails and mock-tails. All food was exquisite- well worth the money for a special meal
