   What a wonderful hotel. My children and I stayed for 2 nights and were very well looked after. We had a family room which was very large. Everything was spotless. Well stocked tea/coffee tray which also had biscuits and cans of water. One of the major things that impressed me was in the restaurant we had the option of small plates or big plates. I can’t manage large meals and most places only let under 12’s have smaller portions. At this hotel I could have smaller versions of “adult” meals that were reflected with a very reasonable price tag. Same applied to the puddings. We would love to stay at the Berkeley arms again and intend to do so when we have more activities in that area. All the staff were very friendly and having good conversations with my children even when my little girl was chatterboxing about ghosts! Shame we had to go home! Cracking hotel, thanks for having us!

   My daughter and I booked into this hotel to attend a nearby wedding, my daughter arrived a couple of hours before me and Lucy gave her a warm welcome and showed her our rooms, a warm welcome makes a huge difference nowadays. The rooms were everything we’d hoped for , light and spacious. My daughter had an evening meal which was big and tasty. The breakfasts were absolutely fabulous, many choices to suit all, I would 100% recommend this place to stay. Hosts, rooms and food fabulous

   Excellent food home cooked. Friends and myself have eaten there several times recently. Smaller menu available lunchtime. All food has been excellent compliments to chef. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. We will be back. Highly recommend it.

   Great place for lunch. A warm welcoming atmosphere. Delicious food and the portions are generous. I had the duck stir fry and my friend went with the chilli cheese bowl. Cooked beautifully with top quality ingredients. The Eton mess to finish off was perfection. The staff are really friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

   Stayed here two nights for a wedding at the nearby Castle. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. A lovely place with plenty of character, helpful and friendly staff, passionate about the local area. Delicious breakfast both mornings and an overall welcoming atmosphere.
