We love the food here great staff great food is getting a bit pricey though apart from that we enjoy it beautiful garden in summer
Fantastic stay. Food Fantastic .lovely quaint typical British inn. Can't recommend enough. My room had an out door veranda with views to the lake if your into wildlife.
Great to have a real country pub serving great food still. So glad we chose to have a family meal here. Lovely warm welcome, good selection of drinks and food. Lovely to see families enjoying themselves at this place, even dogs were gave a welcome. Such a great place
Beautiful and peaceful stay. The room was really cozy and spacious with a nice view over beautiful fields. Sally, the manager was very accommodating and went out of her way multiple times to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The english breakfast with fresh juices was the perfect way to start our day. Cheers!
Beautiful and clean pub with lots of character, and a lovely garden. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and presented well and the wait was less than 10 minutes. Will definitely be coming back again! Really do recommend.
Special curry bit bland not a lot of ingredients in it , fish chips fish no taste to it the salad and chips with this were really nice , burger chips was good though tasty , Tables were sticky need a good clean , other tables had dirty plates etc left on could cleared quicker , we were next to a wall and there was food splatter on wall . Drinks ok but sparkling g water more like lemonade
Amazing country pub. Food was amazing. Nice sized beer garden with kids play area. Plenty of parking and the size of the pub is bigger than you think.
Stayed over from 5 to 6 March. We really enjoyed our stay with you, wonderful atmosphere, good service and lovely room. Can really recommend! Thanks for the French Toast at breakfast. (Only 4 stars for the room because the heating was off in the morning)
Been here before, one of few places on the A368 that was open and serving food on a Tuesday evening. Good beers, good value food. We had Oggies - speciality of the house. Will definitely go again.
Hidden gem with a menu that hardly ever changes, much like the hospitality. Great for parties, small groups, families or date night. Large garden with playground for kids.
