Close to Bristol center the guest house itself is a dump. I paid for a room with a bathroom but got just a room because they couldn't manage their establishment correctly. Over priced for a 1970's establishment.....but its still cheaper than the overpriced dumps in Bristol.

good place to have stayed back in spring 2024, location had aztec west and bus stops (metrobus) nearby so quick to get everywhere, room was quiet and the traffic was calming even though you were right next to the main road- breakfast was good but you did have to be up quite early for it

Letβs start by saying, this isnβt a premier inn or ibis. Obviously, look at the price. So if you book it, donβt expect that level. When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely lady who showed me to my room and talked me through what I needed to know during my stay. My room was ok, it was a twin room on the side of the main road. There was quite a significant crack on the window, and the light shade was crooked. The beds were not comfortable, I didnβt sleep well because it was incredibly noisy throughout the night on the road outside my room and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The decor was outdated (whatever doesnβt matter). The room was clean, the sheets were clean, the floor was hoovered and it was still a pleasant room despite the above. There was a cup, towels & soap on my bed when I arrived which was a nice touch. My room had a shared toilet/shower which was clean, though thereβs quite a lot of mould of the photos & the walls in there where thereβs no ventilation in there. This needs cleaning and probably some type of solution. The breakfast was decent and the man who served it was nice and friendly. It was a small English fry up, it done the job and was good. There was also the option of different cereals and variety of drinks to choose from - included in the price of the stay, so really isnβt bad at all. The dining room was very clean, and the tables were laid out nicely. I thought it was a really nice room. Plenty of parking which is great! And was close to where I was going too. Overall, Iβd go back if I was in Bristol again for business. I wouldnβt if it was leisure. Thank you for the stay Jays!

Lovely homely place to stay after a long drive from Yorkshire. Very clean. Excellent breakfast! Wonderful host. Why we've never stayed here before I don't know - probably because it has always been full!! We will definitely go back and can thoroughly recommend.

Stayed here last night. Very nice, comfortable, welcoming B&B. Room was a little dated, if I'm honest, but it was warm, clean, in good order and had everything I needed. The cooked breakfast was first class (better than I can do at home!). I can highly recommend this extremely good value B&B.

Booked the place for a single night's stay. The owners were really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely too. The place was reasonably priced. I would go even as far to say it was a bargain. Basic amenities were provided. Will recommend the place to young adults and couples without children. The only negative thing I have to say is that it is right beside the dual carriageway. So light sleepers will have to make a request to get a room that is further away.
