Our visit was set back by the presence of ants in the bedroom that had only arrived a few days ago. This upset the whole visit for us - if not present it would have given us a different take on the place. The vegetarian (Quorn) sausages were so hard. Breakfast is very basic - no fruit, cheeses, etc.

Quiet and comfortable. Stayed two nights in single room while visiting a friend with kids in the area, and wanted to ensure a good night's sleep! Room was small and basic but perfect for my needs. Bed was quite soft, which might be a negative for some. Staff were flexible and accommodated my later check-in time. Breakfast (additional 12 pounds cash or pre-pay with booking), was a decent fry-up with the usual fixings, not the best, but a perfectly serviceable start to a busy day. Location is far from the center city, though it is on one of the main bus lines. Relatively close to Bristol Parkway train station too.

Clean well appointed rooms . Quite convenient location. I thought initially I was lucky to get one of their best rooms after a previous cramped stay in a box room up a few flights of stairs . However no soap was provided . I got little sleep due noisy guests They work hard with the breakfast to give you a pleasant personalised choice . Dining room is nice and elegant .

Fantastic little hotel, the lady that welcomed us was very friendly and informative If you aren’t an idiot getting to the car park is no problem, instructions were sent via email says before (Bevan Court is the road you have to go down) Room was lovely, very clean and spacious - bigger than the pictures suggested Fixed prices too which is great, no surcharge for staying at the weekend like other hotels Toiletries were offered, but we weren’t staying for a shower. Better this was as there’s less environmental waste for those that don’t use the products 10/10 would recommend for Bristol

So the first inconvenience for us was we could not enter the parking from the front of the building and so we've had to drive further down the street and make a turn on a petrol station to get back on the same road and so to turn into a back street where the parking is accessible. But at least is free of charge. And that's why you have to carefully read on the website when you're making your mbooking. We've got spotless clean and quite cute room but very small for the money we've had to pay(if the price was including breakfast wouldn't be complaining). Another inconvenience was the card machine wasn't working so we've had to go the the petrol station to withdraw cash and also we were asked after we paid if we are gonna need shampoo or shower gel which we did not need but when got to the room we realised there was not even soap in the bathroom. Couldn't be bordered to go all the way down and up (room was on top floor) :( So that was very disappointing. It's available but not in the room?!? Bed/mattress was not comfortable either. I Wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I am happy we are here only one night.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were the hardest I have ever come across. They were more like wooden planks covered in cotton. The towels were like sandpaper which is great for exfoliation but not so good for drying. The shower really needs more power. We also had to ask for soap as it wasn't supplied. The wifi was dreadful in our room and kept dropping out. Glad it was only one night On the plus side It was clean and there was free parking. Didn't sample the breakfast as we had to leave early.

Stayed 1 night here. The room was clean and had everything in it that I needed. The en-suite bathroom was good but only 1 small towel was provided for drying yourself after the shower, another larger towel would have been nice. You also had to pick up a tiny soap packet from the foyer which was just enough for my stay. The breakfast in the morning was well cooked and delivered in a timely fashion. But the glasses for the juices where small resulting in the need to refill it during the meal. The staff where friendly and helpful (they let me use an iron and ironing board).

The bed was comfortable, and the room was generally well decorated and very clean, although quite small for the price given that it was tucked into the eaves. The cold water tap was stuck and when we asked for someone to come and fix it, no one did (on a very hot summer day). The shower was also either too hot or too cold. Soap isn't available in the rooms and is only available on request: we got 1 small sachet of conditioner shampoo and body wash for the two of us. I regret forgetting my own soap!
