   I felt so nurtured staying here, my room “Dovecote” was so beautiful and fresh and clean. There were fresh flowers in my room, on the table outside and gardens were spilling over with flowers of every colour. Apples on trees to eat at my leisure and lovely walks on the farm, gumboots supplied - cute sheep and chickens - the place is an absolute delight and everything you need is supplied. I’ll be back one day. Thankyou Michael &Tricia and Natalie, Trina, Kerry and Stuart.

   We had the most wonderful weekend at upper Vobster farm. The room we had (valley view) was absolutely stunning. Everything was spotless and beautifully decorated. I particularly loved opening up the door to the courtyard every morning. The farm itself and the surrounding area is beautiful. It felt like a mini paradise - I could have stayed forever! My son was doing a course at nearby Vobster quay - which was within walking distance (15-20 min walk) - so the location was perfect for us. We can’t wait to come back.

   Beautiful property that feels serene and peaceful. I loved feeding the farm animals one morning and sitting by the ponds surrounded by beautiful trees and hills. My room was lovely and had everything I needed with nice extra touches and welcome basket. Highly recommend!

   We came for a writing retreat for 3 nights and the farm was very conducive - very quiet, amazing grounds for long walks, different places to sit and write. Natalie was a superstar, very helpful and incredibly friendly. We felt right at home. We loved learning about the animals. Very well equipped kitchen, deliciously comfy beds, great water pressure. All round highly recommend!

   What a gem Upper Vobster Farm is. The location is amazing and the views are breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning walks and watching the animals being fed. The Dovecote was perfect and had everything we needed and more. It is so light and airy and we had the best nights sleep. We would highly recommend and will definitely return - but for longer next time!

   We stayed in the Dovecote for a week in early September 2022. The farm is owned by Michael & Tricia who still have a very hands on interest in the day to day operation. The room was absolutely beautiful, every detail has been considered to not only give you a wow factor on arrival, but to keep you feeling relaxed, comfortable and happy during the holiday. The staff are amazing. You can take part with activities such as daily feeds and goat walking, or you may wish to just relax. We did a little of both and loved it. I can truly say that Upper Vobster Farm as a whole is simply first class. I genuinely would recommend it to anyone wishing to relax and enjoy superior quality and comfort. It is also perfectly situated for days out. We visited Bath, Poole, Longleat & Salisbury during our stay. Thanks so much for this beautiful place, we will return.

   I had a wonderful stay at Upper Vobster Farm for a weekend retreat. I stayed in Rosemary cottage. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The cottage was furnished lovely and well equipped. It’s a lovely location to relax, unwind and take a stroll. It’s in easy driving distance from the lovely town of Frome, a nice place to walk around local shops, or enjoy a coffee.

   This was a gem of the property to stay in the area. Amazing details to comfort and your needs. I stayed with my family of 5 adults and 2 kids. We stayed in Courtyard Cottage, Valley View- the whole stay was by far one of the best farm stay we have ever experienced. It was so well managed, that it gave a feel of a 5 star property but with personal touch. Host was brilliant and really accommodating. If you have any doubt in booking this place, like minimum stay period etc. They are more than happy to work that out for you (if they can). Kitchen is so well equipped - you really just need your cloths to enjoy the getaway. They have a swing/ slide which my kids enjoyed thoroughly. Nice picnic surroundings, and animal feeding. You can see chics and roosters up close and feed them. Highly highly recommend.
