Lovely place with a friendly and helpful welcome. The view over the resevoir is something else, and with wildlife such as roe dear making an appearance, it is an idyllic and peaceful place. The rooms are in keeping with mansions appearance and everything you need is in the room.

Very friendly hosts. Rooms reflect the charm and character of such a historic building. As such, amenities like a trouser press would be out of place I feel. Wonderful views. Access is via a single track lane up Parsonage Road. Be wary of satnav taking you to care home next door as it did to us.

Staying at The Parsonage was a unique and wonderful experience. The large home it’s in is old, beautiful, filled with lots of character, and very well maintained. Our room was exceptionally clean - pride of ownership is evident in every way. On top of all of that, the breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Beautiful area and the owners were incredibly accommodating. Despite its grand appearance, the staff made us feel very much at home!

Very good stay! Patricia was very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is simple with everything you need. Old world touches make the experience a step back in time. Beautiful location near Bristol airport made this a perfect stop over. Breakfast was wonderful- cooked fresh with a great vegetarian option and a lovely view of the grounds and countryside. I would recommend this experience which is certainly different to that of a run-of-the-mill hotel!

Lovely, old quirky place. Rural and peaceful - we saw deer on the driveway -yet convenient for M5. Fab hosts

Had a nice welcome but that's it, room had no locks on the door, spiders in every corner cobwebs everywhere. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were thin sheets had holes and duvet was dirty, my partner couldn't sleep so she wanted to go home so we left in the early hours.

Architecturally lovely with a great view over the lawns and reservoir. Our room was spotless, calm and well decorated retaining original features. A gem , well priced, friendly and a huge relief from modern boxrooms!!
