   I am relieved that this centre is temporarily closed and I honestly hope it remains closed unless major changes are made. My experience there was extremely distressing and I found the environment to be hostile and unprofessional. I left feeling shaken by how I was spoken to and the overall aggressive atmosphere during my visit. No parent should have to go through that especially in a place meant to support families. I truly hope that any future reopening comes with serious improvements to ensure parents are treated with respect and dignity.

   I am deeply disappointed with my experience at First Steps Surrey Child Contact Centre. From my very first visit, I felt unwelcome and unfairly judged. As a father seeking to maintain a relationship with my children, I found the staff to be biased, particularly favouring mothers and women's refuges. It was both shocking and humiliating to be treated with such disdain and prejudice, especially in front of my children. It's evident that the centre has a skewed perspective that does not consider the father's side of the story. I've learned that local women's refuges frequently recommend this facility, which may explain the noticeable bias. Fathers seeking fair treatment might consider looking elsewhere for a contact centre that values impartiality and respect for all parties involved.

   First Steps Contact Centre were amazing to work with. From the outset to the very end of our journey together, they were highly professional, respectful and due diligent; they played close attention to detail and were sensitive to circumstances; they always took care in the sessions and always had the best interests at the forefront of their work. Kerri took the time to go over, above and beyond what was expected and for that I will always be grateful. I highly recommend Kerri.

   Can't recommend first steps surrey enough I was so nervous at the begin but kerri was brilliant very polite and very approachable and made the experience that much better. Very professional and easy to talk with and made a hard experience better im glad I went as have been able to connect with my girls again. Thanks again kerri

   Kerri was amazing from start to finish with the services she offered. Friendly and made the environment comfortable for all parties. My son loved the center, toys and activities. The reporting system offered with Supervised visits is great for both parents and for the family courts to review. Making space available for my son and I on such short, quick notice was great from Kerri and I would recommend Kerri and the centers services to all going through difficulties amongst the parents.
