Unhygienic, Unsafe. It's less risky outside in the winter Than inside it. People were arguing and almost fighting about the poor conditions in the place within my first 1 hour of trying it out. (I was just peacefully sat on my laptop gaming). (I only sat inside on the couch for 4 hours before leaving permanently.) Most of the people there are good. Aside from them being drug addicts or have prison/prison history, they will not bother you if you don't do anything bad. A minority doesn't look after the place and makes it worse according to some of the arguments. I can't say here about how bad the conditions are said to be. It's all that I've heard from the arguments. Staff are friendly and willing to bend the rules a bit to accommodate but unfortunately the food is also made by the same staff that are exposed to those conditions most of the day. Some staff are seen to wear face masks. Avoid at all costs.

Julian House Hostel is the awful looking dungeon beneath 'The Baptist Church' in Manvers Street, Bath. It consists of 20 'Pods' (old shipping containers) 4'5" wide x 6' long. The endless number of staff are made up of untrained volunteers who seem to have a noticeable inability to communicate with each other. These so-called staff are very secretive, well beyond the GDPR requirements, a tool that they seem to use at their convenience to hide everything that goes on. People staying there are referred to as 'clients'. Whenever enquiries are made concerning a 'client' the staff seem to manage several different lies all within the same day. The Hostel is also an 'overspill' for prison and is now known locally as 'Bath Open Prison'. After around eight months, some 'clients' get moved to; 1-15 Bladud Buildings, The Paragon, BA1 5LS (backing onto Walcot Street) where they are told "it's a secret address" and that "visitors are not allowed". On finally meeting a 'client' (a very good friend that I've known for around 16yrs.) it's rather evident that coercion and manipulation takes place within Julian House. Holly Flewitt is supposed to be the manager. However, she made it perfectly clear in an email to me that she refuses to communicate with people on the outside. We now know that messages DO NOT get passed on to 'clients'. DO NOT GIVE FUNDS TO JULIAN HOUSE, it goes straight into the pockets of the staff. Give it direct to the 'client', if you are able to find them. Julian House claims to be a helpful, caring charity. In reality, it operates as a corrupt, controlling, brainwashing CULT that urgently needs investigation.
