   Having been a student for the last 3 years in Bristol, Bristol Student Lets is by far the best letting agency we have come across! From the get go they made it clear that although we are students/young adults, we would not be treated any differently to any other demographic of private renters (something we unfortunately found a lot of other letting agencies tend to do). Great communication, and any problems we had during our tenancy were fixed within a day of getting in touch with them. They seem to genuinely want the best for their tenants and are happy to help in any way they can. Thank you so much to our property manager Russ who has been amazing throughout the last year!

   Our son rents a student let from Bristol Student Lets and Initially we had issues when a sinkhole appeared on the property they were renting. It became quickly apparent that Bristol Student Lets do not have any emergency cover or out of hours telephone assistance which made communication difficult. The sinkhole split a mains water pipe that had to be isolated by the fire service. This left the students, and remaining tenants with no water. For 4 days the 3 Students were left with no water and Bristol Student Lets did not deem this an emergency. After speaking with the manager it was clear that they were unaware of the seriousness of the situation and told me the students would need to book alternative accommodation, pay for it and claim the money off the insurers. We had no idea how long the students would need to be in these hotels but the bill would have been beyond their capability. Eventually after a few calls and emails Bristol Student Lets came good and offered the 3 students alternative accommodation in a local Airbnb. There are perhaps a few issues that need addressing for emergency or unexpected situations, and things could get done a little quicker but overall Bristol Student Lets managed to offer a suitable resolution.

   Bristol Student Let’s was a surprising and amazing find. Having gone through the University of Bristol letting service the previous year, we had high standards as to the rights and respect of tenants, particularly students, when renting a property during our time at university in Bristol. Bristol Student Let’s did not disappoint. The team, specifically Brad, were extremely helpful and entrusting. The team were quick to answer any questions or queries: living above the letting agents, this was particularly useful as we were able to pop in at any time for anything.The staff were very entrusting and treated us with respect as mature adults rather than contestant suspicion as many landlords can do when renting to students. My flatmates and I highly recommend the Bristol Student’s Lets, their friendly team are always happy to help, especially when visiting in person, not to mention their cute dog Trevor!

   I honestly could not have asked for a better letting service. As students we often get given the worst for the highest prices with no care from letting agencies. Bristol Student Lets fixed any issue we had within 24 hours. They were kind, courteous and when we locked ourselves out Russ was at our doorstep within 20 minutes. Would 100% recommend to any students in Bristol.

I have worked with Clifton Rentals/BSL for the last 15 years and Craig and his team have been fantastic: friendly, reliable, efficient and excellent value for money. Any problems have been dealt with promptly and communication has been spot on. Whether looking after professionals or students, they have ensured that our properties have been well maintained and presented to a high standard and that our tenants have been treated with respect and that issues have been dealt with promptly and efficiently.
