I booked a vehicle the day before collection and paid almost £1,100 in full. My scheduled pickup time was 12:00 pm the following day. When I attended the location, I was informed that the vehicle was not available. I was then told to go to another address and assured that the car would be delivered to me by 2:00 pm. I waited until that time, but no vehicle was delivered and I received no call, message, or explanation. As a result, I was forced to leave my home again, placing my disabled wife and infant son at risk and causing significant inconvenience, distress, and disruption. This conduct is unacceptable, unprofessional, and a clear failure to provide the service paid for.

Where do I even start with this absolute shocking company. Bad from start to finish. 1. Went in to ask questions, had to wait for a full conversation to finish before getting aknowledged, about how many cars/vans he booked already this and both joking about sharing commission. Approx 4 - 5 minutes. 2. Booked and paid well in advance for date and time of collection 0930 am only to be called at 1630 the day before stating that they didnt have a van until 11 am and thus messing up my moving plans i had organised. 3. When being shown around the van the person was looking for damage that had been marked and couldnt find it stating "they must of fixed it" only to then find the damage when opening the door. Luckily it was marked from last user otherwise guarantee they would have charged me for it if they could. 3. On returning the van the person checking found a slit in the tread of the tire, which I am 100% positive was not caused by me since i drove normal roads from carpark to carpark moving homes and even parking it on my sister's private driveway for extra safety. 4. Took £98 for a budget eco6000 tire that could have been repaired rather than changing, plus £78 in "admin" fees (must be hard work conning people out of the £200 deposit they want on collection). 5. Found a different hire company alot cheaper and with no issues to finish off my moving so look around. Enterprise, National and Alamo are all one be aware and avoid if you dont want to see your hard earned money filling their pockets. ** in response ** res no. 13225790 start time 11:15 instead of my 0930. Supposed to be peugeot boxer YK73 ACM, but actually given a ford DL73 TXB (hmmm, I wonder why?). Cannot be bothered to go to your website, after this I never want to hear of this company again.

I booked a car online with Enterprise Bristol Cabot Circus and had a really poor experience from start to finish. First, I travelled an hour by bus to get to the branch to collect my reservation. When I arrived, I was told they needed to run a “soft check” and that I’d failed it. I was then informed I would have to pay with a credit card instead. At no point during the online booking process was this requirement made clear, and there was no follow-up communication explaining what to do next. I essentially made a wasted trip. Today I called again to rebook, this time knowing I had my credit card ready. The website showed that a car was available, so I phoned to confirm. The staff said they would check with their manager, and then came back to say there actually wasn’t a car available after all. Overall, this branch has shown poor communication, misleading online availability, and no consideration for the time and effort customers spend trying to hire a vehicle. I won’t be using this Enterprise location again and can’t recommend them based on my experience.

They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable before setting off. Had a great experience renting a car (for the first time ever) at this branch! Check in took a wee while but only because the card machine wasn’t working, and next time I’ll definitely use a credit card instead of debit to save a bit of time. No one’s fault! But the guys were so lovely, upon pickup and return. Just super friendly, reassuring and polite! I specifically want to mention Ellis, Will and ahhhhh I’m so sorry I forgot the other guys name! (Management please ask Will/Ellis who else was there on 18th + 20th Oct - I returned a Kia Sportage so he can always get his flowers!!). Anyway brilliant service and will be using again!!!

Max, 1 of their very rude employees expects customers to carry out maintenance to the vehicles themselves or call the AA. Advice is to stay clear of enterprise & all of their vehicles.

Received some fantastic service from Frank and Brad at this branch who went out of their way to make up for the terrible experience we had with the Barnstaple branch even though they had every right not to. Really friendly guys who were great at making us feel heard and finding solutions. The vehicle we hired off them was great and the whole hiring process with them was real smooth.

Booked and paid for a car online Having Checked the website before and it clearly says I can use a debit card for the deposit !!!!!! Arrived at the branch to be told they didn’t have a car available ????? and it would take a couple of hours to get one - why they hadn’t already done this I don’t understand my reservation was for 10.30! Why accept and confirm the booking if you don’t have any cars available Was then informed that I would also need a credit card Offered me a refund didn’t care that my trip is ruined and will have to be cancelled or that they’ve cost me additional money Then told me I’d have to wait 5days for a refund Phoned customer services they said credit card required due to incidents in that area they tried to get another branch to help me but they couldn’t Spoke to customer services on live chat they gave yet another reason for needing a credit card and that the refund would take 10days I’ve spent 45 minutes trying to get a complaint raised Clearly you cannot trust a word they say in person or on there website Would never use this company again

Great service! Lara and her co worker ( sorry can't remember her name) were so helpful and friendly. I had an issue during the journey back and they were both very reassuring and were able to advice me about what I needed do to rectify the situation. Would definitely use Enterprise again if I ever need to go out of town. Oh yes..the car was a great ride, smooth with no issues!! Thank you Lara and co!!
