I visited your pharmacy at approximately 12:20 today, August 5th, to pick up my medication. I was very displeased with the service I received from the young Asian lady who served me. She was very rude in her dealings, and I noticed she had previously served an elderly lady and treated her the same way. I recommend that she receive customer service training and learn to communicate with customers professionally.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today. As I approached the till, Sandra looked at me and bluntly asked “What do you want?” with no courtesy, no greeting and no basic professionalism. Throughout the interaction she did not say please, thank you or even acknowledge me properly. The attitude was unnecessary and disrespectful. I could not help but feel that I would have been treated differently if I was not a person of colour. No customer should be made to feel that way. This experience has left a very poor impression and I hope the management addresses this behaviour immediately. Courtesy and respect should be standard, not optional. I showed my advantage card which she didn’t scan properly.

A lack of customer service and staff. Pharmacy staff when you’re asking them a question are having a laugh after saying hello to you, keeping you waiting. When going upstairs to collection point, half their staff are on lunch break at 3pm, Menai g there’s a whole line of people waiting and very few staff members to help. Just hire more staff during the busy holiday period. Another big business taking advantage of staff making them do the work of many people…

Absolutely shocking experience. Wanted to spend £150 and £50 on two M&S gift cards. The new M&S is opening in Cabot very soon and I wanted to get some gift cards for Christmas. I went to the upstairs self-checkout and scanned the first gift card - the till did not trigger any manual checks but the customer service lady approached me and said she had to "manually put them through on her till".I was then advised, as she spoke to her manager on the headset, that I am not allowed to purchase £150 on the M&S gift card due to "scams happening". She said I was only allowed to spend £100 on the gift card. So I asked if I could add in a singular £50 gift card to make up the difference and I was told "no". The giftcards say you can spend "up to £200" on them and with recent inflation and the cost of M&S, I don't think £150 is an unreasonable amount to want to spend. So, seeing as Boots refused my money, I took my business elsewhere and went opposite to the Post Office/TJ Jones, where you can purchase gift cards and it'll go through the self-checkout without any customer service agent making you feel like you can't spend your money. If Boots have a policy as such due to "recent scams" then Boots should have a clear sign stating so next to the till and giftcards and the policy should be across all stores that sell these gift cards. I felt singled out and was inconvenienced. It should've been a pleasant trip buying Christmas gifts - instead I left feeling like Boots did not want my money. I definitely will not be purchasing from this store again. They've lost out on my £200 for one thing. Avoid like the plague and do not buy gift cards here unless you want to be told what you can and can not spend, despite the labels stating otherwise. After contacting Boots Head Office, they confirmed I shouldn't have been refused. I hope the store will make their policies clearer and handle situations like this more sensitively in future.

Boots is always a good choice if you need to do some cosmetic shopping or pick up quick medical essentials. This store was no different – we found exactly what we needed. Nicely laid out, very clean, and with super friendly staff.

I am a little disappointed that it was difficult to get a pram from the lower level to the next level. There used to be a ramp, leading from make-up to med care. However, we were served by a lovely gentle on Sunday on the end till by the exit as you enter the mall. He was very polite and efficient.

Been plenty of times to this place, staff member on till was so lazy this time. She didn’t ask if I had a boots card,so I had to show her, I had to ASK for a bag she should have offered me the bag. Did she put my things inside the bag? NO! she just handed it to me saying ‘here you go’ I REALLY wanted to say “you put it in the bag, your the worker”. It didn’t help that she was right next to a colleague who’s customer service skills were immaculate. This lady is fed up! Just retire if your not feeling up to it!

Excellent customer care from the prescriptions team. Thank you for your kindness helping me out 2 minutes before closing time for an urgent medication. Really appreciated ❤️

Sparsely staffed and sparsely stocked, this is the High St in 2022. The store is all things, as it has a Pharmacy, Opticians with hearing aid clinic and sprawls across ground and first floors. The staff that were available were friendly and helpful, so a saving grace.

I am here for my flu shot. Very poorly organised. No signs where to go. Had to queue at the pharmacy whilst other people just walked by for their shot. Only 2 chairs. Waiting here for 10 minutes now.
