Been using this place for a few months now. Amazingly cheap prices. A lot of the time but one get one free on uber eats. Great taste and amazing pizza and burgers. Old school but great. For 12 pound we had 2xburger, 2 lots of chips, 2 drinks, 6 boneless chicken pieces and lots of popcorn chicken brilliant price for this day and age!!
took nearly 20 minutes for ONE wrap. Did not seem busy in the slightest and if anything staff were just stockpiling. Attitude changed when the manager walked in which is funny. Tasted Good but wrap came in a half ripped tortilla.
We ordered from Raj’s Pizza in Leicester on a Monday evening quite close to their closing time and we were honestly impressed with the overall experience. We went for a veggie pizza and to our surprise it came with a generous portion of chips and a can of Vimto, none of which we were expecting, but it was a really nice touch. The quality of the food itself was okay, not the best pizza we’ve ever had but definitely not bad either. The crust was decent, the toppings were fine and everything arrived hot and fresh. What really stood out though was the speed of the delivery and the value for money. Considering how late we ordered and how quickly the food arrived we were really happy with the service. If you’re looking for high-end or gourmet pizza this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you want something quick, filling and affordable, especially with a few added extras thrown in, then Raj’s Pizza is definitely worth a try. We’d order again when we’re after something easy and fast that doesn’t break the bank.
As a loyal customer me and my family have been coming to this place for a very long time eat in and out. I made a phone order and the person on the other side got it wrong. We had a big order before I went away and the food was OK I come back they are chopping up the chicken in the wrap instead off a full strips to save money. So it looks like they are cutting back on the food and passing it on to the customer to make up for the refurb. The fries was very over cooked. The lamb burger was nice. Over all the experience was not good.
Dont you just hate it when they put every sauce on the planet in your burger without asking..oh yes and the guy serving has to be the most unfriendliest person on Earth
If I could give this take away minus stars I would. I'm absolutely disgusted with the level of customer service I've received today. The man behind the counter is so rude. He took the wrong the order in the 1st place. Then had the nerve to say my family member placed wrong the order then had even more cheek to say that why didn't I come place the order. I'm wasn't going to stand there and have argument over donner and chips mistakes happens. He offered to replace it but his attitude stank eventually i walked and told him keep the money aswell. After 10+ of going to this take away I I'll NOT be returning here again.
This one of the pizza takeaway years ago introduced 3 for 10 pizzas in Leicester, and the pizza was tasty and perfect. But, it seems to lose its soul. This is not the first time we have bought from here, and not the last time the food is disgusting and horrible.Pizzas we had are not cooked properly, runny and watery. Taste is so bad that we have to cook again to eat it, as not to waste. Staff are not friendly and very grumpy. Price still reasonable, yet the pizza we had doesn't have any meat at all (check the pictures) for the price we have paid. The owner should consider training these people and make sure to follow the food and hygiene standards, in reality; not by proof in a paper. Sitting areas have not been cleaned. It was very unfortunate to lose one of the best takeaway, coming from a humble and best, to horrible and wasted.
Worst takeaway on melton road is raja’s.The person on the phone on Friday at 1.40 has absolutely disgusting customer service just had to cancel the order at the end of the phone call so rude and full of pride. Never will I come back here you’ve let me down many time not just today. CASH ONLY IN 2023 even the guy selling pan down the road takes card. Don’t waste your time and money here they don’t deserve it
