I had few things, taste was nice but found it to be bit over salted but that maybe just me. Service was good. They have hand wash basin which definitely helps. Will come back again and if salt is right then last star will be added. Keep up the good work.

Great service, nice cosy venue, delicious food. Reasonably priced. Portions were a good size too. Liverpool won so added bonus!

Food too oily and the Hakka noodles were too spicy, the waiter should have asked whether we need mild or medium. The person in charge was a bit impolite. I don’t know whether he was just a manager or the owner. He never told me on phone that they don’t accept cards.

Half decent food but not the best in Leicestershire. Good value for money and a nice small no thrills place. Service was ok. Place is simple inside and a good menu. Food was at 6/10 compared to Blue Peter, Woolpack, and Indian Queen. Payment.. this is where the problems started. We were told card payment was accepted upon arriving. Once 6 of us finished eating and it was time to pay we were told ‘card machine will not take one payment’. In what universe can you run a restaurant and not have the facility to split payments. Half of us had cash and others had card. After much disagreement, owner took one card payment for the full amount and we all had to pay out Friend in cash. Utterly embarrassing and ridiculous. This is 2019 soon, come on guys, sort it out. It’ll cost you like 20p per card machine transaction.. is it really worth the embarrassment of this review? We were told ‘the accountant can’t figure out payments between card and cash payments’. Well.. find a new Accountant. It cannot be sustainable to operate like this. How would a table of 10 people pay? Please get this sorted, no point in dodging tax these days.

Looks so much better than the Catherine wheel cafe that used to be there. It looks all modern now with clean furniture and you can actually see inside now Instead of the horrible net they had up in the window. Looking forward to going and checking out the food want to try the breakfast and evening meals they offer.
