Great food and lovely atmosphere! The sushi was fresh, the ramen was flavorful, and the service was warm and welcoming. A wonderful dining experience overall β€” definitely worth a visit!

We ate at Volcano with the all you can eat menu, you can order 4 items per round and they had no limit on the rounds. The hosomaki was delicious and good quality fish. Hot food was pretty good too. The β€œsashimi salad” was one thing that actively was quite bad, it was some salmon and salad but drenched in this sriracha mayo/fish sauce that i actually had to pour out in order to eat it. Overall, it was a nice time, but some qualms I have is the sashimi being limited to only two orders per person, meaning you can get a maximum of 6 slices of sashimi the whole time, i’ve been to sushi buffets with this same concept outside of cardiff and others do include sashimi for a lesser price point, as well as this the rice to fish ratio on a-lot of the sushi dishes is a little bit cheeky, plus most rolls in the futomaki dishes include crabstick for some reason (probably because its a more cheaper item)

Have eaten at Vulcano twice, both times doing the 50% discount a la carte prices. We did this because some of the dishes we wanted to try (especially the Spider Maki) were not available on the all you can eat. The prices are expensive before the discount, but felt about right after the 50%. I enjoyed the food for the most part but have found it hit and miss. I ordered the same thing both times I visited and the first time was excellent, and the second time very disappointing. As you can see from the pictures, the food was absolutely slathered in sweet sauces, and these had pooled on the maki because it was stacked flat like a pyramid. We couldn't really taste anything but the sauces and these quickly became very rich and sickly. The portions are excellent though, we definitely didn't leave hungry! And the staff are lovely too! Absolutely excellent service! I'm not sure we would go back after our second visit. Shame because the first time was delicious. The food is visually stunning though! Definitely worth a try at least once!

Amazing! Beautiful restaurant with friendly, attentive staff and excellent food. Clever take on an 'all you can eat' where you order what you would like (4 items at a time every 15mins) and it is bought out to you as soon as it's cooked. This means it's super fresh and hot when it arrives, not to mention beautifully presented...looks exactly the same as the pictures. Will definitely be going again and would highly recommend, thanks to all at Volcano!

Amazing service. They had set price menu for about Β£34 you could order anything unlimited for 2 hours. They had regular menu too. We ordered 3 rounds and I was so full. The quality of the food was very good. Their in house wine was good quality one too. I recommend it.

A really lovely meal, great food and friendly staff, children under 1.4m eat for half price. I love the idea of how this buffet works you get to order 5 times per person and 4 dishes each time, make sure you choose carefully to make it past 3 orders and still have room for ice cream and pick a mix

Definitely go for lunch. Every item is half price and we had 7-8 dishes between us and two drinks for Β£40. Crispy chicken was stunning. Great flavours and really lovely staff. Great service.

I am not one for Japanese quisine, but Volcano Restaurant has made me a big fan. Their All You Can Eat menu has a huge selection of choices (something for everyone); which if you had the capacity to eat every item on the menu can be reordered 5 times over! Dishes are cooked fresh and beautifully presented. Spring rolls and tempura dishes were light and crisp. I ate so much that I left the restaurant oscillating in the wind like the Goodyear blimp. Polite, friendly and efficient staff made it a great experience. I WILL be back.

One of my favourite places to dine, I have been here many times with friends and family and we all love it. The food is amazing and great quality, There are so many dishes that I simply cannot pick a favourite but if I really had to choose it would be the Volcano roll. In addition to great food, the staff was also very welcoming and polite. Id highly recommend this if you like Japanese cuisine
