   Great food on every visit. Been here a few times now and the food has always tasted fresh. You will probaby need to go visit a few times just to get through the menu or go as a group and not because the menu is overwhelming but each dish I've had has been so moreish i can never finish what ive ordered. They also have a good variety of drinks, bubble teas and Mojitos fresh Orange juice too (which I always opt for). After a meal their new matilda cake range just hits the spot snickers flavour is divine. Enjoy!

   This was our first time ordering from Uncle J in Leicester through Uber Eats, and the delivery was handled by the restaurant itself. The food arrived efficiently and in good time, which made a great first impression. One of the most surprising aspects was how well the food was presented. For a takeaway, the packaging and the appearance of the food were outstanding. Everything was still warm and neatly arranged, which definitely helped enhance the overall experience. We ordered a few different items. The salt and pepper paneer was the main dish I was looking forward to, but unfortunately, it was not quite to my taste. That might be down to my expectations though, as I thought it would be drier in texture. Instead, it came quite wet, and the flavour just did not suit me personally. That said, I would be open to trying a different paneer dish in the future. The noodles we ordered were lovely and full of flavour. The prawn crackers were also enjoyable. The only slight letdown was the spring rolls. There were only four, and they were quite small, which was a bit disappointing considering the rest of the meal. Overall, the food was decent, and the service was impressive. I would be happy to try Uncle J again, possibly choosing some different dishes next time.

   Visited Uncle J's yesterday (bit late to the party), and finally had a chance to try their delicious food! I saw they do sushi which is why I visited, but found out they won't be making it until next week (more of an excuse to come back to try some more food) :P We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. I had their combo box and chicken dumplings. Both were great! What really made our visit extra special was the amazing service. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we walked in. The manager also gave a complimentary mango milkshake which tasted really good. Their kinder milkshake was like one i've not had in a long time and would definitely recommend. Haven't had indo chinese for a while and I am obsessed. I will definitely coming back to try some more food from their menu. Overall, it was a perfect experience even as a takeaway. Great food, lovely and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family!

   Uncle J’s is a fantastic dining destination that offers a delightful combination of good food and a welcoming atmosphere. With plenty of tables available, it’s a great spot for both small and large groups to enjoy a meal together. I started my experience with the Kinder shake, which was absolutely lovely—rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The Fragile Cheesecake shake was equally delightful, offering a unique twist that made it a standout treat. The raspberry sherbet milkshake was also delicious, adding a refreshing touch to my meal. One of the highlights of my visit was the cracked chips; they are truly some of the best chips I’ve ever had! Crispy and seasoned to perfection, they’re a must-try for any visitor. I also enjoyed the noodles and the garlic and chili beef, which were both delicious and flavorful. The salt & pepper wings were a delight as well, combining tasty flavors with a satisfying crunch. The chicken noodles were nice, offering a hearty option for those looking for something filling. I was pleasantly surprised by the honey chili chips; they were a unique and good combo that I unexpectedly really enjoyed. The noodles with crispy prawns made for a lovely combination, enhancing the overall dining experience. I also tried the gyoza chicken dumplings, which I enjoyed as well. However, the absolute star of the meal was the chili oil prawns. They were outstanding—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, making them a dish I’d highly recommend. Overall, Uncle J’s provides a wonderful dining experience that combines great food with a friendly atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal; you won’t be disappointed!

   Had uncle js few weeks back on deliveroo but it didn't really hit the spot. Was told by someone to go eat at the restaurant, so went over one evening. ordered the meal for 2, chicken 65, honey lemon fish, crack chips, veg noodles with Tokyo bites. The food was amazing, all the food was fresh, big portions and tasted lovely. I especially loved the Tokyo bites. Was pleasantly surprised. The service was the best I've received from a restaurant for a while. very attentive, kept asking if we needed anything or how was the food. Was also given a kids meal on the house for my son and they made us try their new Mango lassi bubble tea. Something else they hit out of the park. Best bubble tea I have had. Would definitely recommend and would advise eating in.

   I had ordered Bao buns and dumplings from their app ,’the order took more then an hour to arrive , their app dsnt have any tracking option . the food was cold , bao buns were hard and the taste was ok . Dumplings were good no complaints. They should fix their app with tracking option and deliver food little early

   What can I say? Chicken quality is 10/10 and flavours are 10/10. Honey chicken is next level with the crack chips. An extra large meal can feed 2 people with an added side. Excellent value for money.
