Highly underrated place. The food is really good. Proper portions and very well priced considering all the expensive places on Evington Road now.

I've been coming here for years, food is amazing. They have recently started giving back to the community, really generous and happy to have a local vendor like this!
Thought we would try here after a little search online. Place was empty which should have been a warning sign but we were hungry. Ordered combo 3 and prawn meal. Had to order at the till. Took approx 35/35 mins for food to arrive. Only thing edible was the chips. The chicken was rotten and had a smell to it. Lamb chops were very thin. Prawns were okay but all the seasoning was to the shell which obviously you don’t eat. Complained because the chicken had an off smell and a couple of us tried to taste it and spat it back out. Also was not white as you would expect but grey. Wanted a refund at least for the combo I full but this was denied as we ate some chips and half the lamb chops so settled for £20 refund from the approx £60 paid. Absolutely disgusting. Must all be fake reviews. Stick to the likes of pepes if you have any value for your health and taste buds.
Always hit and miss this place but legends never die. Used to be the go to place back in the day now they use doner from a bucket that anyone can buy and microwave at home. Gazebo sauce is amazing though.
Use to be a regular when at university in Leicester many moons ago and it was really good. Vistied today and found it very expensive did not taste great. Would give it 2/10 but for the price to pay would expect alot more. Paid £60 for family of 4 and didnt even finish half of the food! Never mind the missing items
Visited from London 10 years ago, a decade later ended up living nearby and visited again - perfect food, lovely brothers, generous portions, inexpensive, and still one of the best halal food establishments - I recommend medium heat (Gazebo) or mild
