Ordered for delivery pad thai with prawns. First of all very expensive! Almost 10£ +3,20£ for protein (prawns). Food not very special in taste honestly but worst is that in by box I found maybe 3 prawns + few tails (peels) only. That cost me over 3£?? Wouldn't recommend it unfortunately.

Thai Express Restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience with its combination of delicious food and inviting atmosphere. The dishes are freshly prepared, rich in authentic Thai flavors, and beautifully presented. Whether you enjoy spicy curries, flavorful noodles, or fresh stir-fries, the menu has something for everyone. The restaurant’s warm and cozy ambiance, along with its friendly service, makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a satisfying meal. Overall, Thai Express is an excellent choice for anyone looking for tasty food in a pleasant setting. And especially the one who made fried rice it was so delicious best experience ❤️

My pad thai stir fried coarse rice noodles, although good "wok hei" but it's too sweet, almost like having dessert rather than a savoury meal. Price wise, quite expensive for two dishes and two soft drinks - £27.27! Atmosphere is like a canteen. Staff members lack eye contact, mumbling instead of speaking clearly.

Ordered 4 dishes(Thai Green Curry, General Thai, Pad Sew Ew and Thairacha Wings ) for dine in and I must say that they were all very tasty and cooked nicely. Very distinctive flavors for all the dishes. Although the portion sizes were very different and did not look anything like the photos. But, I have to say they are very pricey and they aren't even meals!!!. By the time you make it a meal, its easily £12 to £14 per dish. That's pricey for fast food.

The food was very expensive considering how cheap the ingredients are. The chicken was rubbery and had a horrible processed chemical-like taste. I love Thai food but this is cheap nasty takeaway food disguised behind its modern decor. Only good thing was the manager who gave us a refund straight away.

For someone who absolutely loves Thai food, I must say, I'm beyond disappointed with the food at Thai Express. Tom yum DOES NOT taste anything like Tom Yum, the only taste you get in your mouth after every bite is bloody ketchup?!?! I must recommend Thai express to change their chef or make some serious adjustments to their recipes.

The pad thai was super tasty and the spice was great! It's rare to find a place that does gluten free and is halal. Got the order pretty quickly, their take away boxes are well designed with a little handle and a pocket for chopsticks.

Visited the new food court in Fosse Park Leicester. Thai Express looked amazing, better than the rest of food places. However, food was a big let down, I had pad sew - thick rice noodle, the noodle was hard, obviously it’s dried noodle which was not a problem as long as they are soaked in water long enough, they should be as good & soft as fresh ones. My partner had the General Thai chicken with rice - spicy, which the name is not that impressed, hey….. and it’s not spicy, it was a very average dish. There was no service, I walked in to order, I picked drinks from fridge, just like a fast shop style, again it’s not a problem! Then I was given a little black device, when it beeped, I went to pick up meals. There was no tray to put dishes on to walk to table, it took me 3 times walking up & downs, can’t imagine if a group of 6 people eating there, how messy it would be. Forks, knives, spoons, lime pieces, tissues were just out there, only chopsticks are individually wrapped & sealed…. We thought it’s not very clean and safe during the COVID time, or even without COVID!! Price - it’s not a cheap place, it’s fine if food tastes good, but food really isn’t!!
