   Food was below average quality. Took far far too long for food and water to arrive. Once we had asked for the bill, he didn't let us pay it and when we asked to pay, he got angry. We were then asked how to use the card reader by the staff. Would not recommend.

   Ordered a take-away for our visitors after extolling the virtues of Winleys food, from the last time I ate there. The chicken in lemon sauce was very hard and chewy as if it had been cooked the day before and microwaved! There was loads of sugar in the sauce.Mixed vegetables with cashew nuts was exactly that, not stir fried but chunks that you can get frozen from a supermarket and boiled with a sauce with added cashew nuts. The other two dishes were not much better. I did visit today to point this out, but the manager was not the slightest bit interested. Told them I would post this review. Ex cook (retired)

   One of the best chinese meals i have had. We had banquet for 2. The starters were beautiful, hot and not greasy as in some places. The duck was plentyful and perfectly cooked. And the mains were fantastic. Could not eat it all which was such a shame. Could not recommend this place enough . Would add more stars if possible.

   I've never been a great fan of Chinese food, finding it bland and greasy, but my son loves it so I started to go to the local Chinese, which is Winleys, and now I love it. Its not greasy like I've had previously. It's really tasty and the portions are really generous. Sometimes there is a long wait but unfortunately that is what happens when a place is really popular. I just order when they open to collect a few hours later so I don't have that problem anymore.

   Absolutely horrible. They are very busy at the moment as they are one of the few Chinese takeaways available. My dish was packed with grated carrot for some reason? The onions had not been cooked through so were very harsh in flavour as they were pretty much raw. The sauce was thin and runny and did not coat the ingredients. Very little beef and what was in there was tough. So basically a dish full of raw onions, grated carrot, tough beef and very very watery sauce. Avoid it and wait until others are open again.

   This place is 5 stars all the way! First, thank you for being open for collection or delivery during these difficult times! Second, I like the thought put into the 1-way in and out of the pub to pay in one place, go to the back to get your food and exit out the back car park. Lots of good signs to keep 2m apart. Good use of gloves and all of that. But now onto the food! We've only had DBA and a place in BA to compare for Chinese food. This was hands down the best. By a mile. I'm talking overall quality, value and variety. Good amount of protein and veg. Great sauces. We order 4 meals and a spring roll. All were excellent. Happy we finally found our Chinese take-out. We'll definitely return! Again, thank you all for working hard during this tough time. But thank you more for making some really great food!
