   Nice place. It was a blessing to have this restaurant open till late, and the food & service was great. The kitchen closes at 11:30pm. We ordered chicken bucket biryani and prawn bucket biryani. The only difference is the meat mixed in the rice. Toppings are the same. It was delicious. Needed more raita than what they initially offered, so asked for more. Do mention your chilli preference to get the right strength of spiciness.

   Best option for a mallu missing home food. I tried the Chatti choru and it took me right back to kerala, spice level suitable for a South Indian with a perfect blend of seasoning and flavour. Keep in mind food does take a few mins but all freshly made. Extra shout out to Jomon who was brilliant and gave us a lovely experience.

   Me and my wife visit this place quite regularly. The food is lovely, delicious and fresh. The staff, especially Febin is so welcoming and takes care of our requirements. We checked if they do any Gobi dishes but turned out Gobi wasn’t in their menu. But they specially prepared Gobi 65 for us and it was so delicious. A big thank you for considering customer needs and making them happy. We have tried almost all the items in their menu and turns out to be amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

   As a student who crave for homely food Tangastey is my go-to place for CHATTICHOR (kerala meal). They also serve LUNCH MEALS (chicken,lamb&veg) for £4.99 which is very affordable. Also their CHICKEN BIRIYANI is good to go with MASALA CHICKEN FRY. I highly recommend this place for Indian cuisine fans.

   Edit as at 21/01/2023 So last night was our third visit after two excellent first goes. Unfortunately it seems as thought they have already starting cutting corners, as I was expecting would happen. Firstly, the food was VERY slow. We waited over 20 minutes between courses. I know it's all cooked fresh but it's not great. Second, we were served 'off' yoghurt. They claim it tasted that way because it had salt added. Mmm I don't know. Third, we were charged for paratha with our curry. On our previous two visits, we were offered Chapatti or paratha. One visit we had both. When questioned why this was, we were told it was because they were previously out of stock of Chapatti (which should be made fresh....and which we had as well....sooo....) The curry also was not as nice as previous occasions and less meaty. The starters were still delicious but the portion size of chicken has halfed. It seems as though they may have made an extra special effort to impress when opening to boost reviews, and then cut corners after. Such a shame as this was our favourite place. A very welcome new addition to London Road, absolutely stunning curry and biryani tonight from this unassuming gem. We thought we were getting "fast food" but what we got was casual cuisine. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. They have only recently opened so they are working on the interior but honestly it's pretty, cosy and warm and the service is familiar and friendly. Thanks guys. Much appreciated!

   Great traditional South-Indian food! One of the best in Leicester!! Ordered the lamb madras, samosa chaat (best one)and kerala parotha. Definitely a must-try, has the most delicious Indian flavours and keeps you wanting for more!! Friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely try again soon!

   Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and great service. Staffs are very friendly too. Surprisingly i have already tried most of the dishes, the chicken tikka masala, lamb madras and biriyani is a must try…. Loved it!!❤️
