I had the fish and chips and the curry and sure wasn’t disappointed!! Nice fish with lovely batter, chips and good as they get and the curry sauce was fantastic. Everything was tasty. Wrapped in newspaper just like the old days. The service was great and served very quickly . I would definitely recommend. 10/10. .
Fish & Chips always spot on and lovely friendly service. I'm nearly 60 and this is the 2nd best chip shop I've ever been to. Lovely and clean shop with memorabilia of the shop/village. My firm favourite.

I have discovered this place accidentally few month ago after visiting Bradgate Park. I must say we live about 5 miles away, but this has become our goto place every Friday now. It's immaculate, extremely clean, so friendly and tasty of course. Upon my fisrt visit I've felt as if I was dragged back in time few decades. Amazing, absolutely amazing. Thank you
Decided to try this place tonight as we had such a terrible experience of Anstey Chippy. It was easy to find, well presented and had traditional style. Prices were better than the other fish bar in the village as well. The most important bit is the food though. The chips were cooked in nice fresh oil, the batter was crisp and the fish was tasty. We had cod and chips and it was delicious. Will come back soon.
