Ben for breakfast and it was good. Decent sausage and bacon and eggs cooked nicely. A bit strange ordering all you can eat but the service was ok, we did wait a little bit when it got busier. The continental breakfast is quite basic but nice enough.

One guy serving drinks and food, one waitress and one cook ( what could possibly go wrong?) 3 of us waited nearly 1 hour for sirloin steak, hunters chicken and chicken and ribs with baked potato. The plates were cold, the. butter didnβt melt when placed on the potato. Luke warm food at best. The manager disappeared for 5-10 minutes at a time while serving food and drinks, when he did finally ask us if everything was ok we told him no etc. etc. When finished we asked for the bill, 15 minutes elapsed before my wife had to go to the till and grab the attention of the manager. Nice flavour of the Sirloin steak. The rest just bog standard pub food at 3 times the price. My advice would be to go over the road to Murgatroyds fish and chips. By the way they had run out of mushrooms. At 12:45 PM.!!!!!

Food was okay - chicken breast was cold and plain, corn on cob was ice cold and water dripping. both grilled and bit warmed would add all the tricks to reflect the beefeater's great menu. Starters and the desserts were the best. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

My experience at this place was absolutely horrendous. We were shown to our table by who we believe was the service manager. Who said "The waitress would be along in a few minutes to take our drinks order" so we waited and waited, after 25 minutes the manager returned to take our order, there was no apology for the delay in taking our drinks order. We placed our order when we got our drinks, the starters arrived 30 minutes later (thought waiting for the drinks was bad enough!") Very small portions when the starters did arrive thought we had ordered off the kid's section! The starters were lukewarm and not seasoned very well. After eating out starters again we had a long wait for our main course, when the main course arrived the presentation was poor and the food was again lukewarm. Some of the food was under cooked or burnt, see picture the chicken was burnt and hard. When the service manager knew the chicken was burnt because he can see what is about to be served to the guests why did he still service it?? If it was possible to not give any stars I wouldn't. I will DEFINITELY not be going there again and will DEFINITELY NOT recommend to anyone very very disappointed βΉοΈ.

We just had a party in the function room and had a fantastic night. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, from booking the room to helping with the buffet choices. The amount of food they provided was exceptional and was really enjoyed by everyone in our party. The duty manager this evening was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him. Highly recommended if youβre looking to hold a private party.

Sadly, didn't live up to expectations, or even fundamentals. Second visit here, and here for 2 nights at the adjacent Premier. Restaurant, evening 1, full flame grill, looked nice until half way through and chicken was pink and red in places. Politely pointed out, and received feedback from kitchen. " its cooked that bit was a vein" ...... hmmm Breakfast 1, ok but no coffee as machine broken,.. breakfast.. no coffee =fail. Evening 2 bit of a theme, mixed grill chicken red in multiple places, and the steak , well I'm not sure what beast it came from but it was foul, chewy, full of gristle and therefore uneaten. Manager Megan however, fantastic great customer relations, thats worth fortunes. Did assure me at breakfast coffee would be available from bar machine. Breakfast 2, see photo, no mushrooms please.... fail, still no coffee, and therefore raspberry tea... yuk .... I appreciate the poor guy at breakfast was on his own but in a customer industry, could of gone further. started at a 3 rating, but changed to 2.

Great experience for a family meal. Three of us stopped in on a bank holiday weekend and were accommodated without a reservation. The staff were very friendly. Menu has a good selection of the usual grill and pub favourites with a great selection of interesting burgers. Children's menu also very good. We didn't have to wait long for food and the price was reasonable.

We went here because they serve food till 10pm at night . We were late having booked earlier due to train delays etc . So by the time our party got there it was after 9pm . We were well received and had a choice of tables as most diners had left by the time we got there. Having a wheelchair to cater for has its difficulties too with space and walkway blocking !! Well we werenβt disappointed thatβs for sure . All the meals were cooked to perfection and the drink flowing . Although by the time we got to dessert it was 10:30 pm ! Again it was no trouble and worth waiting for . The place itself seems a bit βrusticβ but that may be by choice! Access to most of the building is flat and level and the disabled wc is accessible but you might need a hand with the doors . I canβt comment on what itβs like as a busy place tho . Disabled parking is provided .Entrance doors are not automatic and there are two sets to get in . Restaurant to the left and bar to the right.
