   Not been here in years after moving away from the area, but a dentist appt had me and hubby trying the Pub out this cold monday lunchtime. There were alot of people doing the same which gave the Pub a happy feeling. Nicely decorated with Christmas cheer that gave it a warm welcoming atmosphere. The food however was another story. Amazing home made Giant Yorkshire Pud, filled with beautiful soft chicken breast and assorted veg. Extra gravy boat on request for hubby's steak pie. The menu has a huge choice to suit any picky eater. Excellent value for money. Staff lovely and very welcoming.

   Absolutely lovely food and lovely staff! Have always been very accommodating to my autistic son who struggles with food. Their fish and chips and delicious and so is their Sunday roast! Can really recommend their desserts as well!

   Birthday celebration meal on an early Wednesday evening. Very nice surroundings, excellent service and very good food (both in terms of choice and quality). Been a while since last visit but certainly not disappointed!

   Four of us went on Saturday evening was very busy, glad i'd booked. Nice inside, feels like a restaurant as it's table service which was great no queuing at the bar for drinks. Had a good choice of vegan and gluten free meals compared to most pubs i'd googled. The food was good, the staff attentive. Would definitely go again.
