I’ve been to Urban burger quite a few times and the experience is always good. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. The burgers are juicy and it’s good that you can customise the toppings! Recommend trying if you are in Halifax :)
Good place for a decent burger. I like the fact that you can choose your stack and then just add whatever you want as you make your order, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, the list goes on. The burger itself was very tasty, my only criticism is that the paprika fries that came with it was massively over salted, to the point that I could no longer eat them after a few! Good overall experience here as a whole.
At last! A burger restaurant in Halifax that prides itself on the quality of ingredients instead of its size of burger. No ridiculous towering burgers full of rubbish here, instead perfectly cooked smashed burgers with toppings that compliment the meat so the beef takes centre stage. Accompanied by great skin on fries I also opted to have a salted caramel shake, wonderful. There is no doubt their concept is very similar to Five Guys, albeit five guys would never open in a small town like Halifax. Can’t wait to go back!!! Love it!
Amazing burgers - especially like the build-your-own-burger style of ordering (choosing your own toppings at no extra cost). We both got the bacon cheese burgers - lovely and juicy (without it being dripping with grease), well seasoned, cooked to perfection (nothing worse than a chewy burger). We shared the paprika fries which were delish, but the cheese sauce fell a bit flat as it was too thick and a bit grainy. Mozzarella sticks are great, they come with a marinara dip that’s savoury-sweet, and the onion rings are good. Staff were lovely and welcoming, and we were in and our in 10 minutes on a slow late-lunch. Unfortunately didn’t get a photo of the food (we were starving and basically inhaled it), so here’s the receipt! A bit more than a Maccas would cost but definitely worth the money!
Have been 3 times now since this opened and love the place. The burgers are tasty and the paprika seasoned chips are amazing. The service is brilliant and always love it when they say thank you when your leaving.
5 of us dined today at lunch time for just under £45, this included the most amazing burgers, huge portions of Fries and delicious milk shakes. I had the regular urban cheeseburger with garlic sauce which was cheaper and far nicer than any 5 guys I've eaten. The paprika Fries with cheese sauce was incredible. The only negative for me was although the portions of Fries were huge, the £1 worth of cheese sauce wasn't that large but maybe I was being greedy, that said I'd have liked to have covered the Fries in it as it was so moreish but it would have taken maybe 5 portions of sauce to do so. Anyway, this joins Julios Italian restaurant to my favourite list and I'll be going more often
Nice Burger and fries, like how you can custom build your own burger. Staff friendly. Overall a nice place to grab a bite to eat. Did lose a star as they was no soap in the dispenser's in the toilet.
