Came here with family twice in the space of a couple of weeks & both times the service & food have been great! Good portions, piping hot & tasty. Highly recommended if you want to dine out for an Indian.
DO NOT USE! 2.5 hours wait! Had to call up several times to see what was happening (didn't answer phone). Another hour passes by so I go in to restaurant to see what's happening. Rude staff gave rubbish excuses on delivery drivers and no apology. Shocking. DO NOT USE
Ordered for home delivery, online message said delivery in 45-50 mins....2 and a half hours later still no delivery, so in effect nearly 3 and half hours late... tried to ring and the answer message says try later and it's not possible to leave a message....if you order online, tick the cash payment option, then if they turn up outside of what they advertise, you know what to do....shocking service, avoid at all costs.
Great takeaway! Ordered 2 chicken kormas and they were great, very coconut-y and quite sweet, but i like it that way! Partner got onion bhajis and hes very happy with them, theyre not super dry like from other places. Delivery to Long Lawford took about 50 minutes. Recommend! Came in to celebrate my 9 year old sons birthday (his choice of cuisine) The table was dressed with party hats and confetti which was a lovely touch. The food came out pretty fast and was enjoyed by everyone, absolutely no fault. Staff were so attentive and asked if anything else was needed and ensured we had enough drinks, it was very good service with a smile. So much effort put into making birthday boy happy and catered for also. Thank you so much Hill Murray and all of the team,we had a fantastic evening and we look forward to visiting again.
Dined here last week at the recommendation of a work colleague, and it exceeded my expectations. By and far the best Indian meal I've had. Had the Aloo Channa Chat for starters and a Tandoori Mix Massala and both were exceptional tasting. Great service from the chaps on that night too. Would definitely return.
Had an amazing meal for 2 in the restaurant 2/1/23. We had a shared starter which was excellent. Main course was 10/10. Cobra on draught was lovely. First time at Hill Murry but certainly won't be our last. The waiters were excellent. Reall good value for money. Very good experience.
Had a good relationship with them but they've let us down big time. Tried turning up with takeaway nearly two hours after putting the order in. Not good enough, food always been of a decent standard but the service is somewhat lacking I'm afraid.
Visited the Hillmurray last night for a works leaving party, there were around 20 of us, so a very large group! The table had been set up beautifully ( the restaurant is decorated beautifully and makes you feel very comfortable) and the service was impeccable! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the manager checked on us regularly to make sure everything was okay! He also gave us some free fizzy at the end of the evening to a raise a toast to the two people leaving our NHS family. The food was amazing as always ! And they must be some kind of magic act because they managed to get all of our food out at the same Time and with a group of 20 just wow ! Thoroughly enjoyed by all thank you hillmurray ! Great food and service. The kitchen is happy to prepare something different for you if they have the ingredients. Unusual site on the edge of a carpark. Once you get past that fact it's really good. Takeaways are good too.
