Indian restaurant in Rugby

“Their chicken curry is, without a doubt, the best I've tasted in Rugby. It's a revelation compared to the inauthentic curries often found in other Asian shops. The flavors were incredible, and I found myself craving more”

“Went to Maharajah Tandoori for lunch and had such a great experience! We ordered the Chhole Bhature, Aloo Tikki, a few street food snacks, and a Sweet Lassi—everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully made. It honestly reminded me of proper Indian street food, but in a clean, elegant setting. The staff were really friendly and made sure everything was just right, without rushing us even though it was lunchtime. You can tell they take real pride in what they do. This is hands down the best Indian fine dining spot in Rugby—can’t wait to go back!”

“Sadly, I live 3 hours away. If it was closer, I'd be there regularly. Some slightly different dishes from the normal Indian restaurant. The one I had was excellent plus a superb starter. Good value. Attentive staff.”

“I highly recommend eating at the Malancha, me and my partner went for the first time and it was beautiful. Food and service was 10/10, will definitely be returning.”

“Had a lovely meal here once more & met Ahmed again on the 9 th October. Had a great time chatting to him & we had the usual great service & food you get here from him & his staff.”

“Really nice meal, great value for money and the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend. One of if not the best Indian I’ve had in Rugby. Good gluten free options as well.”

“The friendly staff, nice food, and substantial portions keep you full for a while! I'm always back here again!”

“We recently tried Exotica after its re opening, the food is amazing all of us were really impressed and will order again. Definitely recommend”

“Fantastic variety, quantity and value for money. We went for the Golden Meal for two, and three of us had very full plates. Will definitely be back.”

“This one turned out to be a surprise. Having lived in Rugby, never tried this place before. I was visiting Rugby today and looked for food options and luckily discovered Vrajdham. Absolutely authentic and tasty food…the pavbhaji was mindblowing (can attest the authenticity and taste given I am from Mumbai). Will order again when I am in Rugby next!”

“Absolutely beautiful food, always good service”

“I ordered a collection from here on Saturday night. Unfortunately I bought it home and fell asleep. I ate the lamb tikka biryani the next day and boy was it still full of flavour. The lamb was tender and perfectly spiced. Even after a night in the fridge it was not dry at all. The sauce was exactly how I wanted after making a slight change to the order. I can only imagine how good it would have tasted fresh. Would definitely order again and try the rest of the menu. Keep up the work lads”

“Allways good in here. Great food.”

“Came across this hidden gem on the high street earlier this night. Coming from a South Asian background, this cuisine tasted like with what I'd expect from my mother's cooking and hence I was compelled to leave a review! Shout out to the chef for his culinary skills and the front of house for their outstanding hosting and hospitality! Definitely coming back again......”

“Been here for years definitely the best Chinese fast delivery can pay cash on delivery too”

“I hadn’t been here for quite some time so I decided to order takeaway. Although food came around an hours time after ordering, it was still hot, tasty and delicious. They also gave me a complimentary gift which is appreciated!”

“Just want to say a massive thank you for having us at your restaurant. The food was amazing, lots of flavour and our host/waiter/owner was fantastic… went above and beyond for our team of 16 making sure we had everything we needed and served with a great sense of humour! A definite place to go if you want authentic Indian cuisine! Many thanks, The Kilroe Tug of War Club/Penistine Young Farmers”

“Great takeaway! Ordered 2 chicken kormas and they were great, very coconut-y and quite sweet, but i like it that way! Partner got onion bhajis and hes very happy with them, theyre not super dry like from other places. Delivery to Long Lawford took about 50 minutes. Recommend! “Food is good, staff are welcoming. The ambience is nice. Best place in Rugby to get some spicy South Indian dishes like Dosa, Idli, Vada, kuththu parota and also North Indian dishes like Naan, Parotta. It has good options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Limited beverages available like Beer, Vodka, wine, fruit juice and cool drinks.”
