I used to come here years ago with friends when I lived in Bradford.I’ve moved back for a few months and wanted to support them, especially since the place always looks empty. I walked in with a friend and straight away you could feel the grease in the air.An elderly man seated us but didn’t return,so we eventually had to get up and ask him to take our order. He looked tired and uninterested, almost like he’d been prisoned there for years. The poppadoms came out absolutely drenched in oil, which were not edible, the samosa’s came oily again and there was a very bad smell as if the oil they were fried in was either old and re-used or they had used it to fry something else in it.The salad which was served with it was as stale as damp cardboard left in a corner. The food took a long time to come out, even though we were the only ones there. When it arrived, there was no flavour at all.We had to mix sauces just to get some taste. The mixed grill was hard, and the colours in the food didn’t match the lack of spices or seasoning.Out of the three items we ordered, two arrived and we had to ask about the third. We were told it hadn’t been made yet, so we said to leave it because we needed to go soon. Despite that, the dish still turned up at the end. The naan’s were uneven as if an amateur had made them the first time and the kebabs were so hard and bland that we needed extra sauce just to get them down.No one checked on us at any point to ask how the food was.I paid the bill and as we were leaving, the same elderly man came outside as we had sat in our car and accused us of not paying.Thankfully, for the first time ever, I’d asked and kept the receipt and showed it to him,and he walked away.I’m not sure if the restaurant is under the same ownership or if it’s changed hands, but I hope the owners read this. Its not a dig but an friendly advice from an old customer to fix these things,if they want to stay in business. The service and food need serious attention. It’s now very clear why the place is always empty.A friendly welcome, proper flavour, and basic customer care would make a huge difference.

Went here 1st time yesterday, met by a grumpy old man who looks like he's being forced to work there absolutely no manners. Ordered a tawa for 3 which was shocking after waiting for 40 minutes, chicken boti all cold and dry, lamp chops and seekh kebabs looked and tasted like they were yesterdays rewarmed, curry was absolutely tasteless, roti was soggy, ordered 3 paranta's which were just falling apart the frozen 1's would have been better. Since eating the food and coming home been up all night puking due to food poisoning so will definitely be reporting the place to Food Standards & Hygiene

Wishing to experience the authentic flavors, I decided to give this restaurant a try. The starters were cooked well, full of flavour However, the main course, specifically the chicken karahi, was disappointing. I requested the dish prepared "desi style" and hot, but it was served flavorless, notably lacking salt and spices. This was an unfortunate letdown. I must commend the waiters for their friendly service and note that the meal was value for money.

Visited Punjabs Bradford and was blown away by both the food and the service. We ordered a tawa for three people and it was absolutely spot on – the curries tasted like proper home-style cooking, full of authentic flavour. The mixed grill was another highlight – the meats were soft, juicy, and cooked to perfection, with plenty to go around. The service was just as impressive. Our waiter was attentive, polite, and genuinely hard-working. He took the time to make sure we were well looked after without ever being intrusive. On top of that, the value is excellent. You can tell this is a family-run business – there’s a personal touch, real pride in what they serve, and care put into every detail. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Punjabi food with warm, professional service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Very fast service. Friendly staff. And i think prices are quite low for these modern times. Definitely one the cheaper side of restaurants. Would return to try other menu items

Good curries which are very authentic and desi style in taste. Their naan kebabs are also very good, tried their lamb handi which is on the bone and the Punjabi butter chicken and both were very nice. Only issue was it's now a cash only establishment so loses a star

Punjab restaurant was recommended by a friend. I ordered Karela Daal, more daal and not a hint of Karela. Very disappointed. When you have a takeout make sure you look at what you order before they pack it up for you. Don't make the mistake I did....

Halal food Best Asian food I was a little skeptical reading the reviews when my husband took us here today. I was about to rate 4 stars but after the food I had and the number of 1 stars I wanted to do them justice There was a gathering on top floor and we were on ground We had mix grill, Keema matar and haleem with naan Every thing was fresh and tasted really good. We had kids with us and we cannot tolerate hot. They complied with our request and kept spices down We had lassi and mango shakes for drinks, honestly best mango shakes we had Service 5/5 Seating 4/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Food 5/5 Wait for food 3/5
