The most lovely decor with amazing and kind staff. The girl who makes fruit tea was not there when we arrived so to compensate they gave me and my mum free Chinese tea. They were very friendly. It does say on the desk at the front that card is not accepted at this time but there is an ATM across the road. The food was absolutely delicious and we are very satisfied with our meal. reasonable prices aswell 35 pounds for 2 main dishes and a side dish. 100% worth your money

True Vietnamese street food with all its freshness, spices, and amazing flavour combinations. The soups and especially the Phō are, contrary to some reviews, exactly how they're supposed to be. Fresh, not overpowering, but perfectly balanced. The summer rolls and salads are great, as well. Highly recommended. Only caveat: card/contactless payment isn't possible right now as the system's broken, so cash payment is necessary. There are a lot of ATMs in the immediate vicinity, though. Update one year later: the card payment issue seems to persist, and is not just a temporary "issue". Feels a little deceptive. Demoted the rating.

We recently dined at Little Vietnam Restaurant and overall, the experience was quite mixed. We ordered the Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup and the Chicken and Prawn Noodles for our main dishes. The food was decent, nothing exceptional but acceptable for a casual meal. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We ordered drinks when our food order was taken, but the food arrived before the drinks. In fact, we had finished our meals by the time the drinks finally came. The staff did apologise and offered free drinks as compensation, which was appreciated, but it still disrupted the flow of the meal. One important thing to note is that there’s a service charge added to the bill, even though there’s no mention of this on the menu. Also, the restaurant is cash-only, so make sure to bring cash with you, as cards are not accepted. In summary, the food was just OK, but the service and the unexpected service charge, along with the cash-only policy, were points of concern.

Great food although suspicious of the beef curry. It tasted very Thai. Anyway, good points are great tasting food, very fresh, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Bad points, very expensive for the size of the meals. The portions could double in size for the price. As said at the begining, the beef curry tasted very Thai. And finally, the service charge at the end should be scrapped. Service is included in the meal and tips are paid depending on service and price fairness. Also, this restaurant is cash or bank transfer only. We would go back but not as often as we would like. What you see in the photo with 2 cans of coke and a can of sprite cost £50.05 with service charge added. It's very pricey.

We had a great time here yesterday evening. The service was incredible - the waitress was attentive and extremely helpful. I wanted a mixture of two dishes on the menu (hot and spicy Tofu, with Pho noodles instead of rice noodles) and they accommodated my request like it was no problem. The food was delicious. It was so filling I had to take half of it home. The waitress actually offered a takeaway pot and prepared this when we paid for the bill. I had the Iced coffee which was like a sugary mocha and enjoyed it so much I ordered a second one. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be returning :)

We had the beef brisket pho, the steak pho and prawn summer rolls. The pho did remind me of authentic Vietnamese food, but just lacking in any sort of flavour. The summer rolls were very fresh, but also lacking in taste. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and polite, would go back to try something else on the menu.

My friends and I had dinner here for the first time and we loved it! The food was beautiful, presentation was amazing and the service was above and beyond. It felt so homely and we had such a great night A perfect spot to have a catch up with friends surrounded by good food and amazing people Thank you for having us, and we can't wait to come back!

So so pleased to have a place to get great quality pho in Cardiff. Soulful broth, brilliant range of toppings and lovely service & decor. We will be returning! Note: they do take card payments now :)

I am so exciting to try this authentic family run Vietnamese restaurant. The pho is fabulous! Recommend the thin sliced pho rather than brisket one. The prawn spring roll was so crunchy which has a whole prawn inside the roll. But the prawn cracker was not crunchy enough. Hope the restaurant can improve this. The menu was not fully translated to English, a few dish name only show in Vietnamese, got to google the dish name, hope they can translate to English or add some photos for referencing. Definitely I will go for a dinner next time. Remarks: it seems that the restaurant is CASH only at the moment, hope they can add a contactless machine next time.
