So busy as it was 5th Dec. Didn’t wait long for food, it was delicious. Celebrated my mum’s 80th and the staff let us get on decorating the table and doing a cake etc. They were so busy, but amazing and friendly. Very clean and will return. Live entertainment was great as well.
We went here on a Saturday evening, we managed to get a cosy table in the corner and stayed there most of the evening. It was a lovely venue with a great atmosphere. Staff were welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable about various drinks. We didn"t have food but have rated 5 star as have to put something and the selection of food looked amazing (we have also eaten at a Botentist before food was great) There was a live band on which was really good, also not too loud so people can still talk. I had a few different cocktails and they were all well made, the bar man recommended his favourite drink, which we had and it was the best of the night. Toilets were clean and well stocked with lovely smelling soap! We went for one and stayed for 4 drinks!
First time at the Bay restaurant and was not disappointed. Was greeted on a very damp Saturday afternoon by a lovely young lady who had excellent customer service. Was made to feel welcome right away. Our table was ready and was introduced to our waitress. Choice of food was excellent and had the Kebab with chunky chips. Food was delivered very quickly which was great for us as we had a show in the Millennium Centre to see. The mocktail was delicious so was the cheesecake. I will definitely be returning to the restaurant when in the bay again.
My first visit at The Botanist in Cardiff Bay and a lovely experience it was. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was very nice, lots of flavour and pretty filling too, moreso if you have the chicken burger, it's a big one! I think my only negative I can muster up were the drink prices that were a tad expensive and rack your bill up a bit, you tend to find this same scenario in many restaurants these days though. Overall a lovely place and would definitely visit again
Our favourite place in 2025, WOW, what a place, we are on holiday in Cardiff and came across this place, offering lunch time deal for £8.50, we were not disappointed at all. Please have a look at the pic's. The food was absolutely amazing, right size too, flavours were spot on. The staff here are fantastic too, friendly and polite. Can't fault them. We liked it that much that im sitting in the restaurant right now writing my review im that impressed with here. We can't wait to find a local one to us when home to go to. Thank you for a great experience and great food.
Stopped in for a couple drinks while in the area. Large bright restaurant on Cardiff bay, loads of great views. Restaurant was comfortable with great ambiance, loads of nautical artifacts and design elements. We didnt have any food but will definitely come back on our next visit to the area.
Absolutely stunning food! We all had the hanging kebabs and they were awesome! A really cool idea and very filling! The atmosphere was great, the place has a very warm feel to it! Would definitely go back again for food and looks a lovely place for drinks.
The club house is a bar and restaurant in Cardiff. There is plenty of seating area and two bars. One downstairs and one upstairs. The menu has a good variety of offerings including vegetarian options. The food is absolutely delicious and arrived quickly. The staff are friendly and helpful! Overall a really nice experience
Lovely position very close to the waterfront. The serving area is large, over two floors. It was pretty empty when we went at lunchtime so not a great atmosphere though the staff were cheery and efficient. The hanging kebab off the main menu was quite dramatic, reasonably priced and tasted great. The lamb kebab off the lunchtime menu was quite tasteless without the sauce, but plenty with the (extra) bowl of chips.
Swanky new (much needed) Cocktail/Restaurant bar in Cardiff Bay. Came for pre-theatre drinks, lovely chilled vibe, ambient lighting with an extensive drinks menu. They also have an outdoor balcony overlooking the Bay which will be perfect during the summer months. Staff are super friendly. Will be returning to try the food at some point.
