A fantastic locals pub with excellent service and amazing food. The venue is warm and inviting, with a good combination of different size tables and comfy sofas. We hadn't booked (which I'd now recommend!) but were taken to the rear area of the bar, to sit by a log burner until a table was ready. Great selection of food available and the quality was outstanding. Well priced wines too by the bottle or glass. The staff were attentive, smiley and very welcoming. Will absolutely be returning - 100% recommended!

We visited on a Sunday afternoon where my friends pre-booked our Sunday dinners. Francois, our restaurateur looked after us superbly. The service was impeccable and I felt I could ask for anything. I had the roast chicken which was gorgeous. The roast potatoes were a bit hard but this didn’t bother me as everything was amazing. Drinks options were great and would definitely come back again. All the food is fresh.

Fabulous welcome, fantastic food. Gluten free options. Brilliant drinks menu. Wonderful staff. Will definitely be returning. We sat in the bar area with our dog and it was great. We'll definitely be returning. Thank you. Merci!

Really lovely, quiet little pub with decent food, well cooked and nicely presented. The lunch menu is also really good value. If we are passing though again we will definitely return.

Superb hidden gem of a pub / restaurant. Stumbled across this excellent venue while staying in the area. We went on Wednesday steak night and had the T-Bone. Everything about the food was heavenly from the perfect cooked chips to the delicious steak with the incredible peppercorn sauce. The chef certainly can cook, no question! Staff were very friendly and attentive and the selection of drinks was varied. Especially enjoyed the choice of craft beers on tap. We are already planning another visit before we leave the area and head home… it was THAT good.

Lovely place to eat overlooking the bay, the staff were friendly But we waited a long time for our food considering it wasn’t busy. we ordered lamb with rainbow vegetables but the veg was near non existent but the lamb and potatoes were very nice.

Great cosy pub with an excellent view of the city. Good selection of local beer. Fantastic value lunch menu available too. I had roast duck and it was delicious, super crispy skin! The sauce was so tasty we had order extra which was no problem. Can’t wait to take my family.
