The best Indian food in town, and their loaded fries, best i have ever had. I eat here very often, service, quality of food excellent. I recommend this Indian food stall at the market to anyone. They are located upstairs in Cardiff market. Well done to them. See you again soon

Visiting Cardiff for the rugby. My son had been recommended this food market. Don't be put off by the appearance of the place because some of these food huts are amazing. This Indian street food was delicious. The lady taking the orders was super helpful and very calm, despite how busy they were. As a vegetarian I wasn't sure what to have so she had me try some of the mung bean dal. Gosh, it was so tasty. In the end 6 of us ate there and we all really enjoyed the food. Portions were generous and fairly priced. It was difficult to find somewhere to sit but probably because it was match day. I was so impressed, I went to pass on thanks and compliments before heading off to the match. Really, make the effort to try this food - don't let the market surroundings deter you. It is well worth it.

Located on the top floor of the market this little Indian spot definitely catches the eye. I went for the Bombay Fries and chicken. Nothing special the bombay fries tasted like normal chips with just flakes of tasteless nothing. The chicken also tasted bland. Definitely not going to be visiting again.

A wee bit spicy which I like. Went for the 'half n half' chips and rice, with extra fried prawns on top. Really good stuff with a portion that makes sure you're stuffed. Check out that homemade mint drink that's a bit different.

Chicken tikka masala was bland and portion was small. Priced at £7.50 Will come back to try the kerala fried chicken - hopefully thats better Single use plastic - cutlery & lids :(

On the balcony of the Cardiff market in the corner, this food stall was a great surprise. The food is a very original take on Indian street food and done very well. From what I could see of everyone around me, everything on the menu was full of flavour and well received. We had the Kerala fried chicken with Bombay fries. Everything was cooked perfectly with the chicken still being moist on the inside. The fried were well cooked but not overdone. The side salad/slaw with the fries was lovely and obviously not just there for looks. The sauce on the side was tasty and complemented the chips and chicken. At £10 a meal, I thought this was a bit expensive for a food stand, but when I collected the order, I realised that this could happily feed two people. I was kind of regretting my wife going off elsewhere as I had no one to help me with the food! The fried chicken was lovely and tasty. I wish it had been spicy, but maybe that’s personal preference. Many people don’t enjoy spice… however, I’d have loved a bit of south Asian heat with that fried chicken! However, I didn’t ask for it to be spicy, so maybe I just didn’t order right? We will definitely be visiting again.

Awesome crispy fried chicken from the outside and tender from the inside... perfectly done fries.. Mutton rolls were crispy, juicy and tasty. Nice rich flavour, would definitely eat there again.

Had a quick lunch here. I had the mix bowl with Kerala brown rice, daal and fried chicken pieces. It was excellent and the price is very reasonable. If you are ever in Cardiff market, pop upstairs and give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
