Joyce and Nav were incredible, thank you again for this unforgettable experience for the new year’s celebration! The staff were amazing and the whole venue is so welcoming.

Food was amazing, waiters were so helpful with recommendations and willing to customize dishes to taste! My friend asked for his Gnocchi to have a little bit of a kick and they added chilli and gave it some heat. Carbonara was great and their garlic bread was fantastic! My other friend ordered the Calzone and it was literally the size of a folded up pizza— the food of dreams. Our waitress Maria was brilliant!!

Thank you La Fontana for an amazing night! Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, amazing staff who go above and beyond. Honestly can’t fault their service, thank you all so much! Massive thanks to the chefs, Sammy, Maria, Isla, and Mukesh for your brilliant service. You made our first night in Leicester memorable! :)

The prices are reasonable and there is a good selection to choose from. The stands out for me was the Pornstar Martini and the Chips. There could have been more flavour to the Chicken in my Sandwich but nethertheless it was lovely with the perfect company.

The service here was faultless! Me and a friend came in for a (very) late dinner and were greeted by a very funny and amazing server who brightened up our nights. The restaurant wasn’t very busy, given the time of day and also time of year so it felt rather cosy and perfectly intimate for a date setting. The menu was amicable with a satisfying variety of food to pick from, such as, focaccia, pastas, pizzas and desserts. I’m basic and went for a classic margarita pizza (would highly recommend). The cheese to tomato ratio was perfect and the crust was thick and fluffy with a little crunch. As for drinks, I was tempted by the piña colada and it was shaken to perfection with a nice layer of foam on top. The pricing was also more than reasonable. Will definitely be back. Upset that we were unable to make it to the beats on toast event they were holding the following Saturday but hopefully we will have the opportunity again!

Situated in a prestigious location next to the Town Hall Gardens, it’s like walking into a posh London or Bombay tea room with its highly decorative ceilings, plush comfy chairs, piano and soft music. It’s got a great menu with a good choice for breakfast as well as Indian food, pizzas and burgers etc. What it’s really famous for is it’s wide range of loose leaf teas and artisan coffees with cake. I was there for breakfast … Full Vegan Breakfast with Toast £9.50 - Grilled vegan sausages and vegan bacon, organic scrambled tofu, organic baked beans, roast portobello mushroom and tomato with fresh spinach. I simply couldn’t fault it at all. Rooibos Tea £2.95. In loose leaf it’s prefect to accompany breakfast. Made from the red bush it has no tannins so it doesn’t get bitter. Letting it brew for a good 7 mins meant it brought out the woody notes to complement the sweetness and almost nuttiness of a perfect cuppa. Would I go back? Every year when I visit to watch the Snooker Shootout. Would I recommend? Having tried other places like Cosy Club, etc. it’s the perfect place for breakfast and afternoon tea.

The waffles were awesome. Pepperoni pizza was nice as well, however the dough didn't rise completely. The taste was very good. The restroom had holes on the wall, so anyone can potetially see you from next door

Great vegan cafe with multitude of options for beverages and food. Teas and coffee are sustainable and have an incredible quality. Slightly more expensive than a Nero or Costa, but quality will shine. Ideal to go with friends or on a date. It's near the square and it's perfect for spring and summer to have a coffee outside. Generally a bit slow preparing the drinks.

Wonderful cafe where all food is vegan. One vegan plus 2 omnivore adults and 1 omnivore child (and a baby) all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Service was warm and efficient. Prices very fair (e.g £8-10 for a super, doughy, delicious pizza, similar price for most main courses). There are some tables with plug points and USB charge points. We were given takeaway boxes for the leftovers. Would thoroughly recommend regardless of whether you usually eat meat or animal products or not!
