I had a wrap and it was falling apart. Hardly what I would call a wrap at all. It tasted alright but it was a bit below average. Not great, a decent location and cool music. Doubt I'll be back. There are better Mexican food options in Cardiff.
This is an £11 burrito which I paid an extra £3 for more meat filling. This is straight up robbery with the portion size you gave me. If you like to be scammed buy your burritos from here.
My fav place to order when I’m not feeling great as it’s always tasty and such a reasonable price. Yesterday I ordered their large nacho box with vege chilli and it was packed to the brim with everything, absolute bargain if you ask me. I only ever get the vege chilli so can’t speak for the other options but I always enjoy what I go for!! The service is always amazing, I’m a big fan of extra cheese so I tend to leave a cheeky little note asking for a bit extra and they always oblige. They also always leave a cute little drawing and a note on the bag which always puts a smile on my face (I’ve attached a photo of my fav note so far). Overall, good price, tasty food and lovely staff :)
I was super excited to have food from here. I chose to have the protein box with pulled pork. Extra guacamole and all the salad. At first it seemed nice enough, but I noticed that the pork was not only fatty but there were large pieces of skin in there. All rubbery and hairy, extremely unappetising and left extremely disappointed and slightly nauseous. I wish I'd had a vegetarian box now, as I was unable to finish my food because of the fatty pork and large chunks of hairy skin. What a waste... The service was alright, very quiet so served quickly. Aircon was absolutely delightful on such a warm day and this was the best part of the shop.
Great food joint, Mexican cuisine, serves vegetarian, vegan and non-vegetaran option. Great flavours, great food served by smiling helpful staff. On all of my visits till date they will explain the items and will help it make it as you like it. Before this I had never come across any good Mexican food or bean salad places. The portions are generous, too generous infact ( not a bad thing in Studentville). Don't forget to get your loyalty card, after 2-3 servings you get a free drink can. You must visit this place if you are looking for vegetarian or non vege Mexican food in Cardiff.
Staff friendly and welcoming but food standard poor. The chicken was soggy and had no flavour. Burrito ingredients missing that you'd usually expect with Mexican food were lacking. Overall disappointing
Im guessing its recently come under new management, as all the previous reviews are awful and more recent ones are amazing. After my boyfriend and I stuffing ourselves silly its fair to say it was amazing. The classic burrito is plenty big enough and has a great ratio of ingredients The pork was stunning, it might be the best pork ive had in years. My partner got the monster burrito and its literally the size of his head and half again. It is far from tastless, amazing portions and great value for money. There was also a sweet thank you note on the bag which is always nice. Pls ignore all previous bad reviews, this place is to die for, and the people who make it deserve all the credit they can get!
don't understand the good rating. worst burrito of my life. terribly uneven distribution of ingredients, cold, cheese only gets lightly burned but not melted by a torch (I'm not kidding). underwhelming flavor wise.
Asked for my salad to be separate. They send me barely any salad. I also asked for my sauce to be separate, they didn’t even send the sauce. My food is literally dry and very hard to eat. I won’t be ordering again! Very disappointed, specially because I ordered yesterday. The customer service and the lack of care for what they deliver is the reason for the 1 star.
I bought a burrito and taco and it came without the fillings I asked for and they didn't deliver my Pepsi either..i don't recommend it..
