   A group of four, we all had the three course festive meal. Everything about the food was outstanding - the quality, the very generous amount and the temperature. Everybody enjoyed every course - all was delicious. We did order the additional sides of cauliflower cheese and loaded roasties - huge mistake as, although delicious, it was just too much food to manage!!! At the price we paid, the whole meal and service far exceeded expectations - well done Fox & Hounds team!

   Our food took ~1hr 15mins to come out, even though it was not busy at around 3pm. We were still willing to give it a go but the Philly cheese steak baguette came out looking awful. The steak was ordered rare but looked well done. The nacho cheese sauce was stone cold and curdled, it looked more like scrambled egg. We managed to get it refunded but they neglected to refund the full cost. Even thought the cheesy chips were sent back on the plate with the baguette, the upgrade cost was not included in the refund. Do not recommend.

   Extremely short on staff, very busy every table occupied , a lot of people saying how long they had been waiting for their meals . We waited almost an hour for ours . Seemed as thought he barman was doing everything from serving behind the bar to bringing out the food . The food was very nice presentation not great , my friend chose sausage and mash which was swimming in very watery gravy ,didn't look very appetizing at all ,however she said it was ok .Possibly try serving the gravy in a separate jug. I had the veggie burger which was was lovely , again presentation not great ,with just chips and the burger , a half a tomato would have set it off just perfect . All that said it was good value for money

   I went with a group of 4, my husband and my 2 boys. We had the most amazing time. The food came out very quickly, it was lovely and warm and tasted amazing! No complaints at all, the only thing I’d say the chips would be lovely if they were home made but it because everything was so great it didn’t really matter! We also understand the place gets busy and the staff can be under pressure so understandable on why they’re not home made. Thank you again for great service.

   We booked a table for a special birthday and was somewhat disappointed with the overall experience. It has been sometime since we last dined at the Fox and Hounds so were curious to see if the event would live up to our expectations. The venue was extremely busy so we had to wait almost an hour for our meal. We were told upon arrival there was a delay. There was some disappointment with drinks and meals ordered as some were not available. However the service was good and the meals were freshly cooked and hot and they all arrived at the same time, very good, staff did themselves proud. We will visit again and hopefully it will not be as busy so that the waiting time will be greatly reduced.

   Very friendly staff but food very basic. Table next to ours said they'd have had better food at McDonald's. Won't be returning any time soon. Feels like an attempt to maximise profits in these hard times.

   Wonderful experience last night, the lovely lady popped 2 tables together for the 5 of us, excellent gluten free range and so tasty and filling with the most amazing choc fudge cake. The whole place was welcoming and just a fantastic evening, thank you.
