   I went to the shop on Boxing Day sales me and my friend we picked up 3 dresses from the sale section all marked as £10 each and when we went through the tills it came up as £16 and we call for help but the lady told us she can’t sell us because it has been marked as wrong price and I said you must sell it for the marked price she refused and called her manager Linda she said the same also mentioned in 24 hours they can take it off from the customers and reprice it for £16 and resell it because I work in a retail myself and I am aware of the policy if you marke it for the price you must sell it for the marked price as you are misleading the customer and it wasn’t just one dress they were plenty of them . I am very disappointed with the customer service received specially early morning and first visit to Matalan.

   12/10/2025 9:30 am I go into Matalan Rooley lane Bradford ,for a pair of black trousers as I originally bought the wrong size in the first place and the girl who calls her self Lee which I don’t believe ,has the biggest customer service attitude. I used to use this place many times going way back in early 90s and never experinced bad service off that girl. Disgusting. When I asked the girl could you help me she said straight away what’s wrong as she was sorting out the rail of trousers at same time. I replied need help with these trousers she then said if it’s them trousers your looking at that’s all we have out The attitude when she said it body language was shocking I replied you have a big attitude. She then said why the way your speaking to me also not even attempted to come over horrible girl. I spoken the Asian lady manager in store as I asked for a manager and she said she will speak her. And how is it she went out of her way to help find the trousers I wanted and that nastey girl couldn’t Il be Writting to the head office anyway. She ain’t gonna spoil my day becuase she has a attitude wrong type of staff to employ I would t recruit her ever

   First time here..bought a couple of shirts. Some chino shorts and pack of trainers socks...all my size but none fit.... sizing isn't right on all items....

   This was a joke I had not realised just how under staffed this place had got. We had a gift voucher so couldn't use self serve. We were in a queue for about 20 mins just one person serving on maned till.

   Have not visited this store for over two years and surprised to see self service checkouts. Still needed help with items without barcode tags. Having said that, we found lots of discounts on clothing, footwear and household goods. There was work in progress while we were there but it did not intefrere with our experience.

   Always good service and reasonable price. Clothes quality is good but I don't understand why the sizes are too big? They should do a research about their customers. If they are stockings all big sizes clothes and they all are staying on the shelves instead being sold its not worthy for them and customers. House hold stuff are very good nice and quality with good price. I been today at Morrisons and seen Matalan doing click and collect service because of the National Lockdown. I guess If you order online and pay then you can collect from their store. They pass the stuff through the door.
