“Well after being messed around by m and s call centre telling me misleading info . By the time we got to exchange some holiday money I was positively at the end of my rope. Any way enough bad here's the good . Money exchange with Connie cupcake she saw I was not a happy bunny she assured me this can happen even though it was nearly closing . Honestly this girl is such a people person she needs to be heading up the happy team at m and s so bubbly funny and honest she turned a mare of a day into pure joy. “A consistently good experience at the Halifax M&S. It's always busy, which speaks to its popularity, but there is always lots of stock on the shelves. It's a good-sized shop with a brilliant range. We especially love the Food Hall, there's always something nice for tea! Highly recommended for reliable quality and choice.”

“Usual items for sale as well as own brand range. The bakery is excellent and sometimes there are yellow sticker deals on many things at big discounts. The fishmonger has a wide selection as does the pizza and bakery section.”

“A big Matalan by Northern standards with a large assortment of clothes, even some over-sized clothes on offer. We went shopping for undies, hankies and socks here and were very happy with what we got. I can't understand the other reviewers' problems, the staff were lovely and very helpful.”

Has tablets to search for items, this tells you if its in stock, if its in stock nearby or lets you have it delivered to this store later in the day or next day. You order your item and then pick a codeword to give to cashier so they can get your order up. Also has paper catalouges, pencils and order pads. Surprised at how much stock they had. Well laid out. Fully flat and wheelchair accessible. Fast and friendly staff. The best Argos have been in.”

Young lady on the til (Abi) went out of her way to search through all on shop floor for me, then resorted to ordering on computer, and ended up buying for my new grandson too. “Always good service and reasonable price. Clothes quality is good but I don't understand why the sizes are too big? They should do a research about their customers. If they are stockings all big sizes clothes and they all are staying on the shelves instead being sold its not worthy for them and customers. House hold stuff are very good nice and quality with good price. I been today at Morrisons and seen Matalan doing click and collect service because of the National Lockdown. I guess If you order online and pay then you can collect from their store. They pass the stuff through the door.”
