   I went to whitakers a few tyms this week had a gud experience staff very polite and friendly but unfortunately went today 5/9/24 to collect a poloshirt I phoned up 4 and was told was in stock got to the shop asked a member of staff who looked abit lost couldn't find the poloshirt so offered 2 help as other staff sat inside chatting away and den got told if uve been served can you wait 4 her to bring ur item well clearly she couldn't find it was on shelf infront of me but had 2 wait 10minutes 4 her to come tell me we ave none I den said its on the shelf can you please get it and pass me it as its ur shop rule u can't get it urself hence wasted 25minits in this shop 4 a poloshirt which was sat on a shelf looking at me as she den deliberately made me stand in a que near da till where no1 was stood while she chatted away 2 her colleagues was so annoyed as it made me late 4 school pick up tym very unprofessional and unexpected behaviour 4rm grown adults if I didn't need da poloshirt I would have walked out sorry but I wouldn't ave staff like dat working 4 me straight disaplinary warning den out clearly dnt value they jobs as jobs init 4 da pay only as very clueless abt they own stock where its kept mite b harsh but its da true and true hurts but makes us realise how we made the other person feel so.try smiling please and thank you would also be nice as I kept saying but I got a very blank look twice now I could say was it cause of my colour bt im nt negative minded coz dats never bothered me b4 towards ppl so y should others b bothered abt my colour think I've said enough won't b using u again ever rather buy else where

   Placed order with this company and received items. Found some jumpers brand new at home packed in bags and wondered if they'd exchange. All I did was take them in and ask if they would exchange and the comments and remarks made were unreal, one of the staff members found it ok to say that the items would smell of my house even though they were in plastic bags, if I spoke to my customers like that I'd have noone coming back. Another one was you wouldn't do that at Dorothy perking. The question was a simple yes or no answer question. Instead they decided to prolong the situation with unneeded unprofessional remarks. Won't be going back there again even though I've shopped there since my children started school. So disappointing.

   Very poor service. Ordered an item in the shop and was told that will definitely get a text message before item arrives. Went back 2 months and item has not arrived. Then went back and now nearly 3 months and item had arrived and no apology for delay and didn't receive no text message. I was told when item has arrived, we will make sure get a text message. The lady at the counter was rude.

   Ordered a month ago before school opens and still waiting for my order, no call with a estimate or apology. I got my order more quickly last year when in lock down last year . Anytime I ring not them it’s sorry still not in stock with no update when it could arrive. Not good enough. Had enough time to iron out the crease by now.

   Placed an online order and within 5 minutes I received a call from Whitakers. Having just received my order, the assistant noticed that I may have ordered an incorrect colour of the school tie and they were right. Great service!!!!

   TERRIBLE SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION. Disgusting that the local schools force us to shop here! I thought it was bad when it was Andrew Firths but it’s even worse now they’ve merged with Whittakers. Ordered online-1 item from my order was FAULTY ,1 item was NOT RECEIVED. When I contacted them about this the unreceived item was actually OUT OF STOCK but they'd not bothered to state this on their website. Wasn't given any indication on when their stock would be replenished and got fed up of waiting after a few weeks. I requested a replacement for the faulty item and refund for the out of stock item and was STILL WAITING for both OVER A MONTH LATER. I got fed up of chasing them and the lack of updates so had to open a paypal claim,which Whittaker’s have now issued a refund on but in a bloody echeque instead of direct to my card how I paid so I now have to wait EVEN LONGER FOR MY MONEY BACK!
