I do not recommend this store for children's shoes. The young man who served us did not know anything at all about feet or toddlers shoes. He incorrectly measured my little boys feet, gave us the wrong size, even by clarks own sizing and would not listen when I advised he had grown out of that particular size 6 months ago. And told me to go elsewhere if I didn't like their measurements. I was gobsmacked by his attitude and won't be going back again. The staff in the Nike store next door knew much more and were so helpful in comparison. I was about to buy 3 pairs for winter season and they lost those sales because of poor attitude by their staff.

My sister came into the rugby store today as her sonβs shoes were causing him blisters. The manager said that they were fit too big and were still refusing to do the refund, or just 20%. His attitude was appalling and said βcome and get the refund thenβ, another manager also grabbed her autistic sons hand to prevent him from pulling tickets out the machine, might I add they stepped in before she could. Disgusting behaviour from these so called managers. They also tried to refuse the refund even though he admitted they were at fault Would not recommend

I recently visited the Clarks store with my 5-year-old daughter to buy shoes. I had to measure her feet using their device. Unfortunately, I was told I couldnβt measure her feet because she wasnβt wearing socks, citing hygiene concerns. While I understand the importance of maintaining hygiene, it felt excessive in this case. My daughter is 5 years old, and I find it hard to believe that a childβs bare feet would pose any significant hygiene risk. In fact, socks can often be less hygienic as they retain sweat and bacteria. The staffβs rigid adherence to this policy made the experience frustrating, especially since the alternative of using a disposable cover or cleaning the device wasnβt offered. I expect a more practical and accommodating approach, particularly at a store specializing in childrenβs footwear. Sadly, this policy overshadowed what could have been a straightforward and pleasant shopping experience.

My wife took my children (aged 4 months, 2 and 3) out specifically to buy shoes today. As the weather was hot they were wearing sandals. The assistant refused to measure their feet without socks for hygiene reasons and appeared completely disinterested. They apparently don't have any pop on socks or covering to allow you to measure the feet which I find bizarre as I'm sure this wouldn't have been the first occasion that a customer has had this issue. My wife had to buy the cheapest socks they had (Β£9 for a pair of 2) before they'd measure their feet so she could them buy some shoes. One of the socks already has a hole in it after one afternoon of wear. Poor customer service and quality. She came to a shoe shop for the customer service. Its much more convenient and cheaper to buy the shoes online and return them if they don't fit. And people wonder why the high street is dying. Won't be using them ever again

Fantastic service from this store in Rugby, from the first measure by an assistant who was fun and engaging with my 4 year old grandson. Also, exceptional service from the 2 Hannah's at the Store, one of which was the Manager. Between them, they resolved an issue I had with another store and processed an exchange when the shoes I had purchased hurt my Grandson's feet. Finally, thank you to Emma, who processed a 3rd exchange for the same style in a 1/2 size bigger. Clearly a really good Team at this store with a great culture for excellent customer service. Worth the extra mileage for me to travel for further purchases. Thank you.

We had an amazing experience here today. We were served by Hannah and she handled my autistic son with learning disabilities extremely well. She was very friendly but not in your face and let my son feel like he was in control and went at his pace. She didn't push any sales and seemed more than happy to help us even though we didn't really go in to buy any, just to have a look around and see what it was like. This is the first time he had been into a shoe shop as he normally gets them from the hospital, but he really wanted to see what a shoe shop was like and Hannah made his first experience extremely positive! I doubt we will ever go anywhere else from now on! She was so good we did buy some in the end and he was so happy with them! Thank you!

Took my nephew in on Saturday and was greeted by Chris. He dealt perfectly with Leo, engaging and discussing aesthetic merits of his choice of shoe as well as ensuring fit and comfort. Great customer service. Thank you!

We had a phenomenal experience with our two children today. We were looked after by Christopher and he's born to work with people. My two are autistic and don't always take to kindly to people prodding their feet and they generally find choosing shoes a nightmare. However, today was a pleasure, they both found great shoes and I found it an enjoyable experience for the first time ever. I can't thank Chris enough and I think Clarks should be paying him more before he finds another job! βββββ
