Was served today to sell my Samsung S24 yellow. Was served by a young South Asian male, had medium length wavy hair, was about 5ft5, cream / light grey jumper & silver chain ( refused to be given a name by his colleague , Zara because itβs against company policy). This person has 0 customer service skills, mumbles at you & itβs the coldest , least friendly interaction Iβve experienced. He initially gave us the wrong price & when we told him that we got another quote on your website, he shrugged his shoulders. Had to then ask him who would explain the difference at which point he reluctantly called his colleague , Zara. She was friendly enough & resolved the issue but he didnβt even apologise for getting it wrong. Had we not known better weβd have ended up Β£100 worse off.

Went in to buy a phone.. young lady seemed a bit 'dippy' without being too offensive... Not very professional at all... I still only bought the item due to the 5 year warranty, i was only given a receipt, no record of the transaction was made via email, surprisingly!

Items sold here are decent and value for money, however the customer service is extremely poor, its like the employees dont want to work and give one word answers back, which i found very rude, a smile goes a long way, but i guess either the training is poor or they are recruiting the wrong people. also i had to listen to two employees talking about their βnight out on the razzβ instead of serving me, i waited a short while and then said excuse me, then i got served. fix up Bradford CEX.

Wanted to sell my macbook, was in perfect condition brought it in to the bradford store where i took pictures prior to handing it in. Screen was perfect and had no damage . 2 members of staff looked over my macbook and gave me a price that they would sell it for. Made a deal . Had a phone call which the member of staff told me they couldnβt give me my money and to collect my macbook as there is a dent and scratch on the screen. HOWEVER 2 MEMBERS OF STAFF HAD ALREADY CHECKED THE SCREEN AND IT WAS CLEAR. Prior to this i cleaned my macbook and didnβt notice ANY OF THIS . This had happened after i had handed it in as i know it was in perfect condition. This is disgusting and i will not be letting this slide. 1 member of staff agreed with me when i said that the scratch on the screen is unmissable whereas their colleague disagreed. This is so unprofessional and this company needs to be shut down. Will be taking this further!!!!!

Sold me a broken ps3 controller wasn't working during first use, so went in to the store to get it switched for a working after waiting 30 minutes for the warranty test and having to queue for the second time I was offered 2 controllers in rubbish condition, one of the controllers even the staff member said they wouldn't be comfortable selling it. So not only have they wasted 1 hour of my time I still have a broken controller. Hopefully I will have better luck in a different store. My only option is to get a different controller because I have had it a month

Visited this store today to browse the 3DS games, chose a game to then be told (after waiting a considerable time in a queue) that the price on the case is incorrect and that they are under going a pricing change and to go off the website prices... but the physical store isnt a website!! got a snotty reply from one of the staff members once i told him i wasn't happy. I refused to continue the sale due to poor customer service and branch management. Get it sorted Cex.

Disgraceful service. Dropped my tablet, scratched the screen, and denied it, refusing to take what was once an immaculate conditioned tablet now scratched up by careless employees who know absolutely nothing in their minimum wage job but like to think they know it all because they play pokemon on the switch.
