   Dunelm at Thurmaston Shopping Center is a rather spacious establishment offering a wide array of household items. Upon entering, one might not immediately grasp the full extent of its offerings, which are quite substantial for those familiar with Dunelm's selections. I personally found the organization of the store could be improved. While there is a great deal to choose from, items appear somewhat dispersed. Enhanced organization could significantly improve the shopping experience. For example, I encountered bedding in multiple locations throughout the store. After selecting one item, I discovered another in a different area, and then yet another in a separate section, which made it challenging to determine the primary location for such items and thus to make a definitive choice. The staff, however, were exceptionally calm, helpful, and polite. They were very attentive to assisting every customer in the store, which was commendable. Generally, a well-organized display of household items tends to simplify the shopping process for customers, as it prevents confusion about whether to purchase an item immediately or to continue exploring for more options. I sincerely hope this feedback assists the management in enhancing the store's organization to further improve customer satisfaction.

   Visited today (11.11.25) and was not left desperate to go back. The cafe staff were not warm and welcoming which is disappointing, however the food was okay. The staff around the actual store weren’t much to comment about either. We went to the check outs and asked a staff member who didn’t look up from their device to tell us we needed to use the normal tills to use gift cards. Just left feeling a lack of service which is a shame when we came to use gift vouchers from our wedding and were excited to get some bits for our home. We’ll be sticking to online in future.

   Dunelm is a great place to shop if you love having plenty of options. I recently bought sheets and pillows, and the variety in quality, colours, and prices made it easy to find exactly what I needed. The store is also packed with kitchenware and almost everything you could want for your home. It’s a convenient, one-stop shop for refreshing any room. Always a reliable place for household essentials. Dunelm also has a coffee shop with a nice variety of snacks to choose from. The chai was a bit of a downer since it didn’t really taste like chai, but the cake was delicious!

   I’ve been to larger stores where everything is set out with more space. This store lacks space and therefore the amount of items that would make it a superior store. There’s no other branch nearby so we’re stuck with it. It used to be great several years ago. Coupled with that, two members of staff I had the misfortune to require assistance from today just couldn’t be bothered to be helpful and gracious. I really don’t like this store. I have memories of Dunelm where I lived previously, where it was pure joy to shop there and I could find whatever I was looking for - and more - and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I’ve noticed there are several reviews here where the attitude of the staff is terrible. I bought many things today and if I end up returning some items because they don’t compliment my new bedding I’m waiting for to arrive, I’ll be good and ready for any bad attitude. If you possibly can- shop on line and avoid this branch.

   Spent over £500 on curtains and some bits and pieces. When we got to the tills I wanted to be served properly as we had a full trolley. The lady manning the self service said the manned till was for refunds ONLY! She did help me through the self service but nearly lost some goods on the floor as the bagging area was too small. Great products dismal service!

   A very crowded shop. Many items almost hidden from view and hard to find. Most frustratingly of all was a chronic lack of clear pricing. I found 5 items I would have bought but for lack of prices. I did make two successful purchases, which is the only reason I gave two stars and not one

   Love Dunelm, they sell everything for a home - any room including garden, lots of choices of colours, styles, patterns for everyone’s taste. Especially they beddings, curtains, and kitchen stuffs. There is a cafe in store but iv never tried it myself. Prices range is flexible, can get something on budget with great quality most tone, offers are always on. This particular store offers free parking, including disabled parking spaces, believe it’s 4 hours, many cafes, restaurants, Asda & Costco, and other clothes and home stores nearby. The only issue is location, it can be really busy to get in or out of the shopping areas at weekends, but the store is wonderful.
