A decent affordable 1920s theme tea room, playing "all that jazz" music, providing good house homemade bakery. A bit hidden location at a side slope road but have one hour free parking outside (check details when arrive).if you need some service, or attention, just ring the bell on the table. Extra marmalade FREE, extra strawberry jam, FREE, extra lemon for tea, FREE! The great gatsby lovers must not miss the upstairs vintage shop too.

What a wonderful little cafe. 1920’s or 40’s themed. Not immediately obvious it’s there from the outside, they have a nice window with some of their treats in but their seating is all downstairs and there’s a good few tables. All decorated lovely, some old music playing. The food was nice. Had the afternoon tea the sandwich was on nice fresh bread and tasted good. The scone was lovely. The staff were so nice, very helpful and kind.

A group of us had the Christmas afternoon tea. All really liked the festive drinks, soup starter, different sandwiches and dessert options. Very generous and delicious slices of cake. Been twice in two months for lunch and the food and service is great.

Popped in for a light lunch and enjoyed the quirky atmosphere, and music. Plus if you like the look of the decor most of it is for sale. I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich, in regulation triangles and my daughter had a vegetarian chili wrap which was piping hot and cheesy! Having demolished that we had to have scones and cake, it almost seemed rude not to. Excellent fare and the staff are both unobtrusive and helpful which is a rare combination in this day and age.

Really lovely, quaint tea room with friendly personnel. Very good scone with cream and jam, however being a tea room I was expecting higher quality, loose leaf tea rather than a bag of tea as you would buy in a supermarket. Worth a visit!

Came across this very nice cafe in the middle of Shipley. Bit quirky and unique. Had tasty home made tomato and lentil soup with plenty of bread and husband had v nice chocolate muffin.

The food was really nice and presented well. The bread is super soft and fresh (makes a difference) and the filling was tasty. The service was a bit 'off' but I think it was just how the lady came across. Interesting decor that os also available to purchase. It's quite pricey. They don't used clotted cream for scones which is a shame.

Delightfully old fashioned cafe selling real home made food. We arrived at 2pm and some menu items were sold out. No fetching some more from the freezer here. Hand made bread rolls and cakes like your granny’s. Wish I lived nearer.
