   I walk into the cafe and ordered food an drink, sat down at the tables to eat, and after 2 minutes I was ordered to leave as they were about to close, I was told to sit out side on a bench to finish off my food and drink!! They could have happily left me in side to finish my food and drink while they cleaned up. All other business and cafes in the same location remained open, I wish I uses Greggs now.

   Visited on Friday 19/12/25 between 12–1pm. Ordered a strawberry smoothie, a matcha drink, and an iced mocha. The drinks themselves tasted fine; however, what I witnessed completely put me off and has left me feeling nauseous since. While sitting down & enjoying our drinks, my kids & myself observed one of the male staff members (tall, medium build) walking around clearing tables etc. He placed his hand underneath his shirt and scratched his back for several seconds, then immediately put his hand down the back of his trousers to scratch again. He then walked straight into the kitchen area without washing or sanitising his hands. This was extremely unhygienic and honestly shocking to witness in a food and drink environment. My children love this place and we are regular customers, but after seeing this, we will not be returning. I didn’t raise the issue at the time as the staff member walked off into the back and the remaining staff were very busy, but this is something management needs to be made aware of. Food safety and hygiene standards should be non-negotiable. Pin worm smoothies anyone?

   Nice coffee spot, been here a few times now. Decently priced, you know it’s good when it’s busy. I’ve had multiple different types of coffees but I went with the iced toffee latte I believe. I’ve had various cakes and they’re all nice and fresh. Plenty of seating which is a bonus

   Over filled coffee that I scolded my fingers causing redness and stinging. Run under cold water for about 5 mins. Not much help from the staff who also didn't have a first aid kit. As a health and safety inspector I would have expected better from an establishment.

   Very friendly staff ,atmosphere was nice and it had plenty of seats . Good for anyone. Food was good and didn't take long . I love the decorations in this place. And the quotes are great.The prices aren't to bad.decent.

   Wonderful place. Been here few times for a hot drinks. Lovely place. Customer service is great. Very friendly service. Coffee taste so good and perfect balance. Food not halal, yet vegetarian options are available. Store itself is very clean, cosy and calming. Not too busy on Wednesday evening, I am not sure about the other days. Definitely visit again whenever in highcross.
