I purchased my product online and collected instore. The whole process was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Its just a pity Halfords have to share the parking with other retailers which can make it like wacky racers at times!
I had my Nextbase dash cam fitted by Nick at Halfords Halifax. I received a good explanation around the fitting of the front and rear cameras, and patient assistance in getting the camera set up with the technology in my car and on my phone. All appears to be working as it should and very easy to use. Excellent service - and with a smile!
I visited the Halifax store today to ask the team if they could fit some new wipers on my car. I was served by a really friendly lady and young man (think his name was Ozzy). It's such a rarity these days to receive such amazing customer service. Both team members are an asset to Halfords. Thank you.
Had my dashcam fitted by Neil today. The process was very straightforward, the work started on time and took 45 minutes to complete. The instructions given after installation were clear and I was reassured that it I have any problems I can call back to ask Neil about it. Would recommend
I went to Halfords for a bike service yesterday and would just like to thank the two men working in that department at 3pm (didn't catch their name unfortunately). Their service was very impressive and they cleaned my bike and gave me a blue light discount and were very transparent with what I was paying for. They went over and above what was required of them and were so friendly. I thought I had left my bag on the bike when I took it in for service and they checked the cameras for me and showed me without hesitation (I hadn't brought it in with me, my mistake). Absolutely amazing job from start to finish and I hope they get to see this review as im very thankful for what they did yesterday. Very much appreciated, top notch bike service.
Halfords Halifax were fantastic. I went in to change my side lights as one of them was not working. The side lights are in a. very difficult awkward position (compact engine) to change, so needed someone who is experienced at changing them. Adam (the boss) served me and then passed my job to a technician named Brendan who was superb. He tried various ways to remove the bulbs and the components and eventually his persistent won and he changed them. He s an asset to Halfords. Also the 2 other chaps both named Jason were really helpful. A pleasant, easy, fast experience and value for money. Thankyou.
The team here don’t seem to know what they are doing. I originally purchased a battery for my car, I went back to see if this could be fitted as I was never even asked if I needed that service. The guy could not fit it so said I had to take it to one of the garage. I was made to return the battery for my car and he ordered me a new one to the garage. He told me it would be the same price and I could also use my trade card at the garage, he confirmed with 2 other staff members that you could . Upon going to the garage (whom were so much more helpful) I was told it would be £230, which was over £100 more than what I’d originally paid and that I couldn’t use my trade card there. I was given so much false information and was messed about for no reason as the garage said they don’t know why I was made to return the one I’d bought first.
Ben at Halifax store was very polite & helpful. He gave me advice on which scooter would be best for my grandson. After purchasing the scooter he then carried it to the car for me. What a star!! Wish more people were were so pleasant & helpful. 10 stars for Ben
Exceptional customer service skills from Umer from the cycling department, he’s the man to go to! Has great knowledge on bikes and all the accessories from safety to comfort! Give him your budget and what you have in mind and he will recommend the best products that suit your needs. Will definitely be visiting again as the care plan was explained well by him and i shall be popping my bike in for its bronze service soon!
The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The person I must say thank you to and heap praise on her is Emma. What an absolutely amazing person. She went far beyond her remit and in my view a great asset to Halfords.
