   This is an excellent Wetherspoons pub and the staff are very friendly and the service is very efficient even though the place is often extremely busy. We are a badminton group who have regularly organised group meals and the landlady has been particularly helpful to us in accommodating a large number of us in a crowded pub on a Friday evening. The food choice is great and always of good quality. I would recommend this pub to anyone.

   We visited The William Wygston last week for drinks and food, and it was a delightful experience. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the pub was dressed for Christmas and looked and felt very festive and the food was lovely. I particularly enjoyed the festive menu – everything was tasty and served piping hot. We felt it was great value for money. Thank you very much, we will definitely be returning!

   We’re there most Friday nights for our dinner after playing badminton. Never had a bad experience. Food always great, comes really quickly, amazing value for money and staff brilliant. Lady manager always really obliging and staff attentive and polite. Cannot recommend enough!

   Lovely to meet family here for breakfast. Lots of space to stretch out. I had a tasty vegan breakfast which was a very reasonable price. My only qualm was that they didn't have soya milk for my cup of tea.

   Went for breakfast, there was a problem in the kitchen so some items weren't available. What did come out was barely lukewarm, including the plate. I usually enjoy their breakfast.

   One of the more decent pubs round the area. Food was decent although the chilli was definitely from a tin and the rice that came with it was just microwave rice. Jacket potato was okay although the cheese that comes with it was weird. Definitely can recommend the pizzas, good price and portion size.
