We ordered on the app, food and drinks took so long. Took over 40 mins for the food, our drinks surprisingly took even longer. It's very cramped. When we finally got our food, after finishing it, we were accused of having food that was not intended for our table. After a long debate, then us all showing what we'd ordered on the app and what we got they finally apologised. Just go to the corn exchange instead - bigger place, nicer atmosphere, faster service, an upstairs and downstairs bar, big tables for big groups if needed.

Had breakfast and lunch here. Plenty of seats. 2 outside areas Courtyard is no smoking or vaping. Toilets clean.

The food is of course good as in any Weatherspon. It was a bit noisy for us, but considering the size of the establishment, I think it's normal. The air conditioning was blowing too strongly cold air, considering the cool weather outside. During the short time of dinner, we didn't feel comfortable and got colder than when we were outside.

This place may look like a budget-friendly spot, but when we ordered burgers, we were a bit disappointed. The burgers were small, the portion of fries was minimal, and overall it didn’t feel like a good value for the price. It’s definitely a nice place if you’re just looking to have a drink, but when it comes to food—especially the burgers—I’m not so sure. Not exactly a price-performance winner.

The Wetherspoon is a great option for anyone looking to enjoy an affordable meal and casual drinks in a lively, central location. This spacious, multi-level venue blends typical pub vibes with a unique touch that reflects Leicester’s charm. Here’s what you can expect: The pub is well-kept and clean, with plenty of seating available across various sections, making it suitable for groups of all sizes or solo visitors. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively, often buzzing with a mix of students, locals, and shoppers. It can get quite busy, especially during peak hours, but the staff usually manage the crowds efficiently. The menu features all the classic Wetherspoon favorites at reasonable prices. The food is generally well-prepared, with satisfying portions, and service times are reasonable despite the pub's busy nature. The range of beers, ales, and spirits is impressive, along with great deals on popular drinks. Their breakfasts are especially favored, offering everything from traditional English breakfasts to lighter options. The staff are polite and handle the crowds effectively, though it can get packed, which may lead to slight delays. They are typically helpful if you have any questions or dietary requirements. Whether you’re looking for a quick lunch, meeting friends for drinks, or just winding down after a day in Leicester, the High Cross Wetherspoon provides solid value in a vibrant setting. It’s a straightforward, dependable pub experience that’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Very busy place lots to choose from when it comes to shopping very good but I'm giving it 1 star du to the parking. The parking price is in line with a lot of London prices but London does disabled discount and high cross doesnt, which I think it is bad. In the parking the staff they had on when I was there didn't understand English and he used his radio too call for help but that never happened so if you need help you won't get it. You are in England please make sure staff understand English.

This was a lovely restaurant to visit, consisting of a glorious presentation and Christmas decorations were also up! The bar was beautifully presented and I enjoyed a spirit to drink on my first visit, served in due time. I came back for breakfast twice, enjoying an Eggs Benedict and American Pancakes with Bacon that were both served by friendly staff to my clean table!
