   The most welcoming village pub you could ever come across. A fantastic place to socialise. Warm, atmospheric and just delightful. The landlords Shaun & Nigel are so sociable and make everyone feel so welcome. A great range of beers, wines, spirits. There is a selection of gins available from a local supplier called Driftwood which are superb. The pub also has regular entertainment and social events including weekly coffee mornings with a good selection of cakes on offer. If you haven't visited yet, get yourselves along, you won't be disappointed

   Got to say what an amazing local pub to go for a drink and food! From the moment you walk in and welcomed by the landlord to the amazing food that’s served it’s a complete delight! I totally recommend Lisa’s cottage pie it’s the best I’ve ever eaten and the prices are totally affordable unlike a lot of these chain pubs that give you a scrawny portion and charge you the earth for it! Dog friendly to as an added bonus! Thank you for a lovely night we will be back ASAP!

   Had a lovely meal with mum today, mum had hand battered fish with huge steak cut chips, I enjoyed Lisa's cottage pie nice touch with the celery. Hosts were perfect company, real home from home, very relaxed atmosphere and a lovely time spent. Sensibly priced too. Take a look you won't be disappointed ...

   I have been twice in the last two weeks. Excellent food, fast and fresh, decent portions, very reasonable price. The steak and the fish & chips were both great value. Being table service only (due to covid) staff were extremely attentive and Covid precautions are spot on: masks, screens, disposable menus, track and trace, sanitising gel stations, etc..
