Our group came for their Christmas Lunch for the third year in a row and we weren't disappointed. The service was excellent, they had the list I'd sent with everyone's requirements which they accommodated, the food was hot and there was plenty of it. Overall we had a great time and would recommend it to everyone.

A really nice welcoming place. The food is good and reasonably priced, staff always friendly and attentive and the venue looks lovely. We even had a small gathering after a christening there and all was so great. Also breakfast with Santa two years in a row, very festive and nice for the little ones (big ones as well).

Had a table for 5 booked for 1pm on a Saturday in mid December. Food was standard chain pub fayre…when it eventually arrived. We ordered on the app at our table using the QR code provided and although the drinks came within a few minutes the food took nearly an hour to be brought to the table. No information provided whilst we waited. No apology. Nothing. It was OK…but nothing special…

Staff were really friendly and service was good. Checked to make sure everything was ok. Partner had soup for starter and it was really nice. We both had fish and chips for main. Food was hot and the fish had lovely crispy batter and had large white flakes. I didn't want peas so they came out and offered me a couple of alternatives, which I thought was nice. Would definitely have it again.

The Old Vicarage is quite a pleasant pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It has a nice charm to it, making it a comfortable place to relax, whether for a casual meal or just a drink. The food is quite nice, with a menu that offers a good variety of options, and most dishes are well-cooked and presented. The service, while generally fine, can feel a little average at times. Staff are polite, but it doesn’t always feel as attentive or engaging as you might expect from a place with this much character. That said, the overall experience is still enjoyable, and it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Staff were lovely and so were other customers, very chatty. We brought our terminally ill parents out for the first time in over a year and they absolutely loved it. Accessible toilet was very handy as both in wheelchairs. WiFi was really strong. Only had a couple light bites to eat but were perfect. Good advertising of the different events/themes each night - will be popping in for a burger and the quiz night very soon! :-)

Whilst the oldies enjoyed their meal mine wasn't. I ordered a chicken burger, got sent a beef burger which also didn't look nice. It was dry. My partner ordered a Pepsi max and girl was pouring Pepsi, it matters when you're a diabetic so you need to be on the ball. Won't go back in a hurry if at all

Awful experience. Arrived at 6.30pm and ordered food waited until 7.45pm still no food until we gave in and asked for a refund. They struggled to cope with a busy pub. When challenged I was aggressively told "have you ever worked in a busy pub!!?". Loads of people queuing for money back. Table next to us resorted to buying bags of crisps they waited so long! Terrible service from the moment we walked in. The server walked away from us and we ended up talking to her head disappearing off into the distance. Nice! No apologies from any of the staff, no offer of free drink or anything. Very much like it or lump it attitude. Only good thing is we got our money back and went to the local chippy. Result in the end. Wouldn't ever go back. Owner needs to go on a customer service course.

Went here last minute on a Saturday night and was lovely, although just in time for last orders the service was not rushed, staff were attentive and friendly. The food was a good portion, good pub food choices and of the 4 different meals we had all were thoroughly enjoyed as well as decently priced - seating area was nice too and spacious, only downside was very cold toilets! But don't let that put you off, I would recommend

Friendly staff, very accommodating. Always something happening be it Lloyd's quiz or bingo. Dog friendly, they even offer blankets, treats and a water bowl for your four legged friend. A wide choice on the menu, never had a problem getting a table
