   My wife and I with a few friends treated ourselves to a pre-Christmas festive lunch and were so pleased to have chosen The White Horse. The food was excellent and the staff were absolutely great. Tables were decorated lovely and nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team, the Management should be very proud of them. We chose the 2 course meal, just as well as the portions were very generous. Excellent job, we look forward to coming back in the New Year.

   We booked a table but on arrival we had to queue at the bar as there wasn’t anyone about to show us to our table. Unfortunately the bar was busy with only one bar staff serving which meant we were waiting about 10 minutes before being told our table, so not a great start. Table was nice with good space between our table and the next, nice decor and a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the food via the app on our phone, all very easy and straightforward, although we could have ordered at the bar if needed. Timeliness of food arriving was ok (about 15 mins). Good varied menu, plenty to choose from(usual pub grub menu). Food was very nice, good sized portions and nice and hot. Overall a good evening out, made even better with the discount voucher on main meals. All staff were very polite and friendly throughout our visit despite being very busy. We will definitely return soon.

   Amazing steak baguette We're regulars at The White Horse every Saturday, and it's always a highlight of our week. We've had their steak baguettes many times before, but last Saturday, they really took it to another level. The baguette was twice the size of what we were expecting, and the flavour was absolutely spot on - juicy, perfectly cooked steak with just the right balance of seasoning. It felt like they'd seriously upped their game, and we're not complaining! Great food, great atmosphere, and clearly a team that keeps finding ways to improve. Already looking forward to next weekend. The breakfast are also spot if you get there a bit earlier This is a dog friendly pub

   I waited patiently for half an hour as the place was not open on time (Well not so patiently, I tried both entrances a few times and rang the place to confirm opening hours, both to no avail). The worker unlocked the door but didn't open it to let us who were waiting outside know. Paid a fortune for a pot of tea that might as well have just been put in the cup the teapot is so small! I don't appreciate the tip message on the card reader either. If you have to go up to the bar to order, there's not really a service that deserves being tipped for. Staff member was friendly and I have no complaints with her, but definitely need to have a look into how well the place is managed. While I was sitting waiting for the place to open at least 3 other people have left rather than stick around. Also, the toilet paper is absolutely horrid.

   Came here by of chance and am glad we did. The food was great and the service was excellent. They have plenty of seating, a pool table and various TV'S showing Sky Sports.

   An hours wait for food when the food came the mixed grill was poor steak should have been rare but was grey chips had a weird taste onion rings best thing on the plate. Disappointing considering they are looking to get people in with the 30% off voucher.

   The atmosphere was warm and inviting nice clean tables the bar service prompt and friendly. The food came out all together it was piping hot the plates nice and warm,helpful pleasant smartly dressed staff nothing too much trouble nice to see smiles not frowns and scowls as is often the case now days. Couldn't fault anything enjoyed my birthday treat,look forward to next time

   The seat had food on and the table was not cleaned, this was at 12 O'clock, I ordered fish and chips, the batter was a little soft but a great meal indeed. Staff friendly and prompt. Definitely worth a visit.
